d. As a future teacher, how will you make yourself a leader in your own
right?
As a future teacher, I will make myself a leader in my own right by learning
and developing myself an efficient and effective teacher leader. This
means I must learn that a good leader can greatly impact the success of
student’s learning. To be an effective leader, I must understand my own
motivations, strength and weaknesses. As a great leader, I should connect
with the class by facilitating open communication, encouraging students
growth and development and set goals to achieve.

a. Do you think that teachers can maximize student’s learning? If yes,
why? If not. Why not?
The pandemic brought such problems that it affects all the sectors in the
world including the education sector. This brought the education to distant
learning and by this, I must learn to engage and learn to use all the online and
internet media to still continue teaching. This will help the students to still in
the road to studying instead just providing modules.
c. Will you influence others to try this innovative practice? Why? Or why
not?
Yes, I will influence others to try this innovative practice. it is because it is the
new normal in the society and everyone is using technology to continue the
life that has been affected by pandemic.
d. If you want others to try this innovative practice, how are you going to
influence others to adopt this practice?
I will influence others to adopt this practice because there is a need to adopt
to new normal especially in education that face to face class is impossible. It
is now a need to learn the technological advancements in teaching and
delivering lessons to students. This is simply by showing them the easy ways
to facilitate learning.
A. Reflect
Yes, True teacher leadership connects teachers and principals in their shared
mission: improving learning for students. We know that the most important
factor in a child’s education is the teacher; when we invite and include expert
teachers in improving the learning environment throughout the school, we
aren’t removing our best teachers from the classrooms to become
administrators. Instead, we are extending their reach. In this issue
of Professional Practices for the 21 st Century Leader, I explore the idea of
shared leadership embedded in Professional Standards for Education
Leaders (PSEL) Standard 7: Professional Community for Teachers and Staff.
A. Reflect
Yes, for me, the present educational system supports the development of
teachers leaders. It is because there are new reforms in the education system
where it enhances the curriculum. Which means teacher are also need to
enhance, level up their abilities and skills to fit in the requirements of new
education system. There’s a lot of seminars, building programs for better
development of teachers leaders.
a. Does the school have programs that will empower teachers to become
leaders? If yes, what are these programs? If none, why not?
Yes, the school does have programs that will empower teachers to become

6. Transitioning into Teacher Leaders
A. Reflection
As a future teacher, do you think that you will be able to accept leadership
responsibilities? Why ? why not?
As a future teacher, I think I can able to accept leadership abilities. In the first
hand, the teacher’s main role is to lead the students to achieve goals of acquiring
learning. Basically, I am trained to become a leader to be professional, efficient,
and effective teacher. As a future leader is to lead students to path of success,
setting directions and pave them the way to aim the goal for student’s learning.
Leadership starts in the small group. I am motivated and guided by the mission
and vision to achieving the goals to become future educator.
B. Interview a teacher leader. Ask them about their journey towards teacher
