PROFILE: A passionate music educator who aims to instill a love of the arts in students within
an environment which is filled with joy and laughter, while simultaneously promoting
advancement in art appreciation, history, theory, and aural/performance skills while remaining a
committed coworker who is eager to continue learning and growing as an arts educator, faculty
member and member of the school’s community. I look to find the intersection of music and the
cultures of the students to create learning activities that serve as both mirrors and windows to the
outside world.

EXPERIENCE:

Harbor Day School 2018-Present


Corona Del Mar, CA
Lower School Music Teacher (K-4)/ Music Department Chair: Responsible for the
vocal and instrumental music education for all Lower School students, using various
methodologies and practices that fit the individual needs of each young musician. Directed and
produced school-wide concerts and performances throughout the year to feature students’
musical progress to the community. Co-direct the 8th-grade musical, as well as teach 8th-grade
electives. As department chair, overseeing the vision and goals of the music department, as well
as the operating budget.

Corpus Christi School 2015-2018


Pacific Palisades, CA
Music Director (TK-8): Prepared and led students in both sacred and secular
performances and enrichment activities, created classroom curriculum that fit the needs of both
the school and individual students by integrating technology, instruments, and movement
activities for the entire student body.

Temple Emanuel Academy Day School 2014-2015

Music Teacher (TK-5): Created curriculum to encourage musical appreciation and
understanding of various musical styles using engaging lessons, games, musical activities, and
presentations to further general music education.

Drama Department Musical Director: Responsibilities include teaching and rehearsing
high school-aged singers and musicians, organizing rehearsal schedules, conducting pit
orchestra, preparing all students for live performances, and other duties that aid in the growth of
