Jayzelle Mirando presents a persuasive speech comparing face-to-face education to the new online education system. While online education allows for flexibility and reduced costs, face-to-face classes allow for less distraction, greater understanding from teachers and peers, and a higher chance of course completion. However, not all students have reliable internet access or devices for online learning, as shown by news stories of students climbing mountains or sitting on rooftops to do schoolwork due to unstable connections. Therefore, Jayzelle argues that face-to-face classes are more effective than online education, which does not work for all students due to unequal access to technology.

Persuasive Speech
I’m Jayzelle Mirando from Tvl 11-A and I’m going
to discuss my persuasive speech titled “Does student learning effectively in the new system of education?” this persuasive speech is not to trigger someone.
When the Covid-19 pandemic starts it changed
the world from fine dining to delivery, from being outside to being isolated and from face-to-face classes to online education we all know that education is important for our lives. So first I am going to discuss what is happening in face-to-face education and in the new system of education. In the new system of education, students have the freedom to juggle their careers and school because they aren't tied down to a fixed schedule. Online education can cost less due to a variety of reasons. For example, there is no cost for commuting. Assorted costs that are related to transport, such as fuel, parking, car maintenance, and public transportation costs don't affect the online student. But in the face-to-face classes. You'll be able to concentrate harder on your learning because there’ll be less distraction than if you were at home. You can gain greater understanding from teachers and other students. You have a greater chance of completing your course successfully by doing it in a classroom situation. You may feel more comfortable and learn more easily in a familiar, traditional classroom situation. You can access more information and richer understanding through teacher and other students. According to Manila Bulletin news student climbs mountain just to submit class requirements due to unstable internet connection and also 10 years old boy who is fifth-grade student, sits on the roof of his home as he takes part in an online class using a tablet, due to weak internet connection in his area.
So, as I discuss to you what is happening in the
face-to-face education and in the new system of education. I would say that face-to-face classes is more effective. So, I disagree that this new system education is effective for all because not everyone has the privilege to have some internet and gadgets and not everyone has a signal in their homes especially when their home doesn’t have good or strong internet connection. That’s why I disagree that online class is not effective for all because of what happening right now, many students like me is not a fast learner unlike the other students that can understand the lesson verry well and also the time of the teacher when they are discussing is very limited. Thank you so much for listening!
We quite agree that online learning is not only convenient for students and teachers but often more effective than traditional classroom instruction because this is a modern teaching method based on modern technology.docx
