1.2 Screeners
1. Eye protection is stored appropriately at end of shift Yes

Eye protection station at the entrance- tables moved at the time of visit to allow for more space for staff at beginning
and end of shift to be able to clean and sanitize the eye protection.
4.0 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
2. PPE carts are available at entry to resident rooms No

Operator to ensure that eye protection are available in the PPEs cart for the residents in isolation.
- Carts contain masks, gloves, gowns, eye protection
7.0 Physical Distancing & Common Areas
3. Break room/space supports physical distancing No

Operator to ensure that all break rooms support physical distancing.


Observed break room where chairs at the table were close togheter.
- Tables/chairs spaced 2 meters apart etc.
9.0 Management of COVID-19 Cases
4. Signage on resident’s door is indicating droplet and contact precautions Yes

Operator to post signs for PPEs donning and doffing for all residents that are in isolation.
Not all residents that are in isolation had the donning and doffing sign on the door.
12.0 Environmental Cleaning
5. There are cleaning lists to guide cleaning staff and cleaning is documented Yes

Operator to ensure that the cleaning frequency is increased for the punching in machine.
Operator also to provide cleaning wipes at that location.
6. Automated disinfectant dispensers are used No

Operator to use test strips to ensure that the correct concentration for the disinfectant is dispensed.
Operator to have log when the automated dispenser is checked.
- There is a process to check for correct dilution: have test strips
- Automated dispenser is checked as per manufacturer’s instructions for use (e.g. how often)
