Q.2: The ubiquitous nature of mobile phones today brings tremendous convenience to our lives, but
will misuse of new improvements to this technology result in the loss of that convenience? For instance,
camera phones are now banned in many fitness centers, park restrooms, and other similar facilities
because some people have used them inappropriately to take compromising photos, and mobile phones
are banned in many classrooms because of the disruption of constant text messaging and the use of the
phone by dishonest students to cheat on exams. Do you think these reactions to mobile phone misuse
are justified? Is there another way to ensure the appropriate use of mobile phones without banning
their use for all individuals? Should there be more stringent consequences for those who use technology
for illegal or unethical purposes

ANSWER:
Mobile phones and their misuses:
In today’s world of advancement mobile phone is a technology which is extensively used.
It is used for the purpose of communicati on which is the most use full facility of mobile
phones.

Misuses of mobile phones:

 It creates significant distraction for the people especially for students.
 It create addictive tendencies in people.
 Students use it for a cheating purpose.
 There are issues of sexual abuse, exploitation and child pornography with cell phones.
To overcome the distraction in classrooms and cheating in exams without banning cellphones
we can place network blockers in examination halls and students should turn their cellphones
off during class so they will not be distracted and for those who use it illegally government
should take action against those peoples and it is our responsibility to use it responsibly. I think
we should teach our students that what they should do if someone is using illegally or how we
should avail this facility without misusing it. The government should impose law against cheating
and for using technology illegally.
