VENDOR’S NAME :
i) Vendor to fill the above and respond to the questionnaire fully and submit along with his
technical offer.
ii) Any deviation must be clearly stated against respective point. If required, separate
sheets can be attached.
iii) This questionnaire does not include all technical points & requirements of the requisition.
Vendor in any case shall comply with other documents enclosed with the requisition.

/ Unpriced Offers without this form duly filled in shall be deemed as
incomplete and not to be evaluated.
1. Confirm that your scope, including TPI inspection & its charges, is as per
requisition and all requirements as per data sheets, standards and
specifications attached with the requisition have been considered by you and
will be met with

8. Confirm compliance to technical and material requirements as per process
data sheets & existing drawings. All documents (codes, standards,
specifications etc.) listed in material requisition shall form part of requisition &
vendor shall comply these requirements.
9. Confirm all requirements for electrical components, as per requisition, are
complied with
10. Confirm all the design calculations including calculation for fan shaft & motor
shaft shall be furnished to Worley.
11. Confirm Electrical data is furnished and is in-compliance with requisition
including scope as defined.
12. SCOPE OF WORK AND SUPPLY
The Vendor’s scope work and supply shall include the following as minimum:
Thermal and mechanical design including preparation of thermal datasheet,
Detailed Engineering including preparation of mechanical engineering data.
Following items shall be either replaced or modified or checked for new
design conditions:
1) Tube bundle including: (NO ACTIVITY) Existing shall be reused.
2) Plenum chamber: (NO ACTIVITY) Existing shall be reused.
3) All steel structure, platform, ladder, manway access: (NO ACTIVITY)
Existing shall be reused.

4) Motor with vibrational switch, LCS and other devices necessary for complete

· For item no. 2060-EA-002, vendor to carry out thermal design of existing
exchanger with process parameter as per Datasheet No. 44AD0600-
2060.P.04.0009 Rev B, along with supply of new fan, motor & HTB Belt with
pulley assembly to meet the performance parameter (6% increase in air
side flow) as specified in the datasheet. Vendor’s scope of supply shall be
new fan with hub mechanism, auto-variable fan mechanism [one half (1/2)],
new motors with vibrational transmitter.
· For item no. 2072-EA-002, vendor to carry out thermal design of the existing
exchanger with process parameter as per Datasheet No. 44AD0600-
2072.P.04.0005 Rev B, along with supply of new fan, motor & HTB Belt
with pulley assembly to meet the performance parameter (15% increase in
air side flow) considering existing tube bundle as specified in the datasheet.
Vendor’s scope of supply shall be new fan with hub mechanism, auto-
variable fan mechanism [two third (2/3)], new motors with vibrational
transmitter.
· Motors as required as per data sheets 44AD0600-0000/E.04/01A4/A4 and
specifications 44AD0600-00/E.02/001A/A4.
· Vibration Transmitter as per clause 4.15.2 of General specification for air
cooled heat exchangers suitable for IEC Zone 1 Gas group IIA, IIB,
Temperature Class T3 minimum for each fan.
· LCS as per data sheet 44AD0600-0000/E.04/002B/A4 and specifications
44AD0600-00/E.02/0002/A4.
· One LCS for each DOL motors are with Start, Stop push buttons and
Ammeter (for motor ratings above 5.5 kW).
· One Emergency stop push button control station for each motor.
· Total 2 control stations for each No. of fan motors.
· Electrical, pneumatic and instrument material and equipments, including air
filter, regulator, positioner, actuator and etc, for the control of auto-variable
pitch fan (For typical hook-ups, refer to 44AD0600-02-J.01H-0053-A4).

· For Item no. 2060-EA-002, One-half (1/2) of fans in the air bay shall be
auto-variable type where blade pitch is automatically adjusted to desired
angle by manual adjustment of a remote-control knob into a pneumatically
actuated relay system. Vendor to provide auto-variable fan complete with
hub mechanism and include air operated actuators plus other devices that
are required. Provide volume boosted when multiple auto-variable fans are
involved for a common service.
· For Item no. 2072-EA-002, Two-third (2/3) of fans in the air bay shall be
auto-variable type where blade pitch is automatically adjusted to desired
angle by manual adjustment of a remote-control knob into a pneumatically
actuated relay system. Vendor to provide auto-variable fan complete with
hub mechanism and include air operated actuators plus other devices that
are required. Provide volume boosted when multiple auto-variable fans are
involved for a common service.
· Manual loading control equipment (and transducer if required) shall be
provided to operate the auto-variable fan(s). It will have a 3 to 15 psig output
range and control station will be located at main control center.
· Offered motor / LCS shall be suitable for termination of required size and
No. of cables. Bidder shall consider required Power JB in case motor is not
suitable for termination of required size of cable. Cable details shall be
furnished to successful bidder for the firm motor rating.
· Pipe supports, Electrical cable tray support as required
· Supply of first fill of lubricants and other consumables for initial six months
of operation
· Supply of all electrical equipment (Motors, LCS etc.)
· Cleats for fireproofing and insulation.
· Earthing clip shall be provided on one column of each item.
· Headers heat protection (wire mesh) is required
· Hydro-testing of Tube bundle at Shop as per UG 99(c).
· All items specifically not covered above and also not covered in Client’s
scope but required for completing the work in all respects
· Thermal design including preparation of thermal datasheet.
· Submission of data sheets for motors as per Worley format (attached with
RFQ documents) along with all documents / drawings / design calculations
mentioned therein.
· Submission of Motor, VFD, Combined Testing Type test certificates. Refer
QAP (attached with RFQ documents) for the testing requirements.
· Preparation of data sheets for Fan and Vibration Transmitter etc.
· Mechanical design of the equipment (wherever applicable)
· Detailed Engineering including preparation of mechanical and thermal data
sheets.
· Submission of data sheets, drawings & design calculations to Worley for
review and approval
· ITP / QAP for all items.
· Vibration testing of Fan assembly (i.e. Dynamic balancing of Fan Hub with
Blades).
· Supply of all materials and bought outs
· Fabrication, inspection, testing, primer & final painting, proper packing
(seaworthy packing when imported) and forwarding, transportation to site.
· Statutory approvals of all components as required

· Execution of the job under TPI inspection.
· Supply of Erection & Commissioning spares as part of base scope
· Providing priced list of recommended spares required for 2-year operation
and maintenance.
· All electrical equipment (Motors, local control stations / Local control panel
etc.) offered to be installed in classified area are suitable for specified area
classification (Zone 2, Gas Group II A & IIB, Temperature Class T3).
· Supply of special tools required for maintenance & operation like Torque
wrench for plugs & fans, fan blade inclinometer, pincer for fin repair, belt
tensioner etc.
· Guarantee against Thermal performance, Mechanical, Vibration-free design,
material and workmanship.
· Supervision at site during erection, trial runs etc.
· Running test, Sound test and Vibration test shall be conducted at shop per
bay per Air Cooler or complete Air Cooler
· EN10204 type 3.1 certification is required for all pressure, load bearing parts
and welding consumables. For all other components EN10204 2.2 is
acceptable. (i.e. Gaskets, Fasteners and structural material)
· Complete documentation as per Vendor Data Requirement.
· Any other service required for safe & smooth operations of Air cooler.
· All activities not specifically mentioned but required to complete the air fin
cooler in all respects as per drawings, specifications, codes, Standards and
instructions of Worley inspector.
13. Vendor shall try to accommodate these Air-cooled exchangers in available
plot area as specified in Job specification. Please confirm.
Also, vendor to note that dimensions specified in job specification are
preliminary and same can be confirmed during detail engineering. Please
confirm.
14. Stage wise and final inspection of each equipment and its components shall be
carried out by TPI. Vendor shall ensure that TPI go through Purchase
Requisition requirements before taking up any Inspection Activity.
Equipment shall be Inspected as per Approved documents only. Inspection
including final inspection shall be as per ITP and QAP.

All indigenous & imported materials shall be procured with stage wise inspections
by TPI with exception listed below. The cost of TPI shall be borne by the vendor.

· If material procured from stockiest to be supplied under TPI Inspection.


· If material procured from Manufacturer with 3.1 certification & proper correlation
is acceptable.
· In case of correlation of MTC could not be established check testing to be
conducted under TPI Inspection.
21. After 2nd pass of comments, vendor shall visit Worley office for finalization of
drawings, calculations and clarifications, if any. Any delay in visiting Worley office
from Vendor side and subsequent delay in equipment delivery, vendor will be
responsible.

22. Guarantee
Vendor shall be responsible for complete thermal & mechanical design, vibration
free design, materials, workmanship and thermal performance of the equipment
supplied by him.
In case the equipment does not perform to the required specification, Vendor
shall rectify or replace the same at his own risk and cost.
Vendor shall also guarantee all work, materials & equipment furnished by sub-
contractor/s and which are incorporated in air-cooled heat exchanger.
23. Drawings and Data shall be provided by the seller in accordance with this
requisition, process data sheets and scope of work.
24. Fan shall be designed for 85 dB (A) maximum sound pressure level at 1 m below
the fan, also keeping in mind the overall limits specified for the Air Cooler.
25. Inspection will be carried out by TPI. Charges for TPI will be borne by Vendor and
same shall be included in their basic offer. Inspection and Testing as per
requisition requirements & enquiry specifications.
26. For electrical items, in addition to the certification from TPI agencies like CIMFR,
ATEX etc. valid certification from statutory agencies for the place of installation
which is PESO is required.
27. No price implication will be acceptable for meeting the technical requirements
already specified in the enquiry documents, even if deviation / exclusion is
mentioned in the offer.
28. Spares
All mandatory spares and Erection & Commissioning spares shall as per Job
Specification and included in base scope.
Providing unit priced list for 2-year recommended spares
29. Prices for future additions / deletions for following are to be provided by bidder
1) Rolled sections like I-beams, channels, angles etc. on per ton basis
2) Rate on per kg basis for external lugs for the following
SA 516 GR 70 materials
IS 2062 Gr. B materials
SA 240 Gr. 316L materials
30. Site supervision is required (5 man-days / air cooler are estimated for site
supervision of erection, testing & commissioning at site). Please confirm.
31. Exclusions from Vendor’s scope of supply
ü Insulation and Fire proofing
ü Unloading of equipment at site near 200m from equipment location
ü Support steel up to 13.0m / 12.0m from FGL
ü Power and Control Cables between MCC and Air Fin Cooler fan
32. Special points
· There are no ODC consignments in this requisition
· Erection & Commissioning Spares shall be included in basic price of the
equipment. No separate prices shall be given.
· TPI & IBR (as applicable) charges shall be included in basic price of the
equipment.

42. Confirmation of compliance with requisition duly signed and stamped
43. Copy of RFQ documents duly signed and stamped
44. Erection & Commissioning spares shall be included in basic price. Separate price
is not required
45. TPI charges are included in basic price
46. Schedule of delivery (Bar Chart)
47. Unpriced BOQ sheets indicating against each line item if that line item is quoted
or not. It is expected that vendor shall quote for all line items unless a specific
item is regretted
48. Sketch showing elevation and plan details of Air Fin Cooler indication bay size
and number of bays, number of fans / motors etc.
Note: 1) This document is an attachment to enquiry. This questionnaire may not
cover all the details of enquiry. Vendor shall note that their scope shall
cover all the points as detailed in Licensors documents and other Worley
documents enclosed with the enquiry.
2) All vendor confirmations to above points shall be treated as governing and
binding on vendor.
