who plan to participate in the Saturday, May 21 st commencement MUST attend rehearsal. You are in an
excellent class representing a proud school and we plan to have your commencement exercise reflect this

ceremony will proceed smoothly on Saturday morning. With your cooperation, the session will be brief.
We should finish by 12:30 pm
You should be in your assigned seat by 10:20 a.m. The assigned seat locations will be distributed to
you as you arrive for rehearsal. You must provide your own transportation to the rehearsal. If this
causes hardships please contact me.

FINAL TRANSCRIPT RELEASE
On Monday, April 18th you will be completing a Final Transcript Request during CUP. Students who
plan on attending a college, technical school, or are joining the military will not have a final transcript

notated.
Athletes who have registered with the NCAA, please include that information on your final transcript
release form.
OBLIGATIONS
A number of you still have obligations that must be taken care of. Check in the Main Office and take care
of these as soon as possible.
GRADUATION CEREMONY
Graduating seniors should arrive at the Sears Centre by 1:30 p.m. on the afternoon of May 21 st. All
graduates are to report to their designated area at this time. We shall assemble at 1:45 p.m. to review the
ceremony, check attendance, adjust caps and gowns, and to allow time and space for our guests to arrive.
Young men will wear a dress shirt, necktie of dark color, dress pants, dark solid socks and shined dress
shoes, if possible. The ladies will want to choose a dress or skirt and blouse suitable to wear under a robe
and to wear a simple hair arrangement that will be compatible with the cap. No flowers or corsages
should be worn. We suggest low heels because the steps leading to the stage are steep. Ladies
should make arrangements to leave their purses with a member of their family because purses
cannot be carried during the ceremony.
GRADUATION PICTURES
We have made arrangements with GradImages to have a professional photographer take a picture of every
graduate at the moment of receiving the diploma. The proofs of these photos will be in color and mailed
free to every home within a week of graduation. Enlargements will be available at a reasonable price.
We feel this service will enable you and your parents to have pictures of your graduation. Parents are
asked to relax in their seats and to limit their personal picture taking to before or after the ceremony.
Please take the time to read this information with your parents.
GRADUATION VIDEO
Take One Video Productions will be videotaping the graduation ceremony. The video will be available
for purchase. You may purchase the video online at www.take-onevideo.com, or you may pick up an
order form in the Main Office. The cost of a DVD is $25. Videos may also be ordered the day of
graduation.
