Industrial Training Notice for Students
Date: 06/05/2019
All Second year students are hereby inform that after this Summer 2019 examination you have to
undergo 6 Weeks industrial training. The duration of training starts from 15/05/2019 to 25/06/2019. All
students must follow the given instructions at the time of industrial training.

Instructions:

1. Uniform, College ID card and Attendance are compulsory during industrial training.
2. Fill and Submit Parents/Guardians Consent letter to the mentor before training.
3. Take Industrial Training Handbook
4. Prepare Daily diary as per following format in separate 100 pages notebook (Register) and
get it signed from mentor as well as Industry Training in-charge/ Industrial Guide. Use the
same diary to note down any relevant information you find worthy in Industry.
5. Attendance register should be maintained at the industry and show it during mentor visit to
the industry.
6. Get yourself acquainted with schedule of the training, rules and regulation of the industry and
safety procedures to be followed. If you fail to follow any rule of industry then industry can
terminate their training.
7. You have to prepare Industrial Training report after completion of the training; so daily
collect maximum data from industry about their work and your work done in industry
premises.
8. You can also visit the website of the industry to collect information about products,
processes, capacity, number of employees, turnover etc. also refer handbook of major
machines and operation, testing, quality control and testing manuals used in the industry.
9. Prepare the report according to the format provided on page no. 48 of “Guidelines &
Assessment Manual for Micro Projects and Industrial Training” This manual is given to
you by coordinator of your department. Submit this report to the department at the time of
presentation and viva. Size of report should be more than 20 pages.
10. While assessing your industrial training performance, mentor and guide from industry both
will decide the marks for industrial training.
11. You have to give presentation on training and have to face oral examination on same.
12. If you face any major problem in industry such as accident or any disciplinary issue then
should immediately report the same to the institute.

OFFICE NOTE
All the allotted mentors for industrial training of second year are hereby informed that they have to follow
the instructions given below. The duration of training is from 15/05/2019 to 25/06/2019.
Instruction to the mentor:
1) Do Communication with to respective industry before 15/05/2019 for scheduling of the training.
2) Convey the importance of the training to the industry.
3) Submit photocopy of the format no. 3 to the industry.
4) Show the schedule to the students and ask them to note.
5) Pass on all instructions to the students without any ambiguity
6) Submit parent/guardian consent letter from them.
7) Visit industry once in every week for all 6 weeks
8) Maintain attendance record of the students
9) Sign on their daily dairy in each visit.
10) You have to give each student marks out of 5 based on his performance and daily diary of the
week.
11) At the end of training student must know his marks out of 30. Prepare list of their marks with you.
12) Refer evaluation sheet format no. 4 from page no. 53 of “Guidelines & Assessment Manual for
Micro Projects and Industrial Training” available with students
13) Guide the students for making industrial report about 20 pages (Excluding pre-pages).
14) Please take photo/Video at the time of Industrial visit.
