▌Tool
▌An array of 12 micro-resistance
sensors determine water hold-up
across the whole well bore.
Water is conductive, but oil and
gas are nonconductive. The
Resistance Array Tool sensors
measure the resistance of the
fluid at their tips.

Spinner Array Tool SAT
New PL sensor: Spinner Array Tool
The Spinner Array Tool (SAT), developed for Halliburton by Sondex, is combinable with the Elite family
of PN tools (for formation evaluation or water flow) and all Elite PL tools, including the Capacitance
Array Tool (CAT). The main objective is to be able to obtain a distributed cross sectional velocity profile
in highly deviated wells. We are field testing this tool in two countries and for two different customers.
We are also field testing the companion resistivity Array Tool (RAT).

SAT Track 6

This display shows the vertical image created by the 6 SAT spinners. The left side of
the track is low side, while the right side is the high side. This is viewing the wellbore
from the side

The colors shaded from white to black represent 0 to -50 fpm indicating downflow.

The yellow to maroon shading indicates increasing velocity from 0 to 110 fpm

As expected the low side of the wellbore indicates some downflow while the upper
portion of the wellbore indicates upflow

Gas Holdup Tool
© 2015 HALLIBURTON. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. 21
Primary Features

▌ Determines gas holdup, independent of flow patterns or wellbore types,

and converts a complex three-phase flow analysis into a simple dual
phase analysis.

▌ Provides horizontal and highly deviated well evaluation (with or without

the presence of gas).

▌ Simplifies the task of understanding and tracking the movement of

multiphase fluids within casing.

▌ Monitors the movement of reservoir fluid contacts.

▌ Helps identify gas and water entry points.

Chi Modeling® Logging Simulation Software Service

▌ When difficult logging conditions result

in missed zones of openhole
information, operators can literally "fill in
the gaps" with the Chi Modeling® post-
processing service.
Chi Modeling™ software is able to
predict triple-combo or even quad-
combo openhole data with a high
degree of accuracy using input data
obtained from two sources: a capture
pass of a pulsed neutron tool, and a
known triple-combo or quad-combo
data set from a neighboring well.
▌ Chi Modeling™ software generates
reliable openhole logs by assigning a
processing weight to input variables
until the plot indicates a reasonable
match with openhole data from a
reference well. The technique helps
operators to better evaluate their
reservoir when data is lacking due to
borehole conditions, missing LWD
sections, old wells, or other factors.

DPUi-LS (Long stroke)
Benefits
▌ Provides total rigless recompletion solution
▌ No explosive materials are used in the plug setting and
subsequent dump bailer cement operations for safer
operations
▌ The setting event is new to the industry -force and stroke
length are recorded and displayed in real time
▌ Swell material used in the high-expansion plug helps ensure
long-termsealing reliability
▌ DPU-I LS tool can be used in any borehole fluid (gas,
oil,water)
Features
▌ Slips and anchors provide the largest support force and
differential pressure rating of all commercially available
through-tubing bridge plugs
▌ • Run in / run out of hole line speed modeled to minimize
swab or surge effects on the dumped cement prior to setting
▌ TTEBP engineering design allows for rapid up scaling or
down scaling for additional or custom casing sizes
▌ Pre-packaged cement kits contain all the required additives
for high-temperature applications

Perforation Optimization

▌ Halliburton Perforating Toolkit

 Provides the ability to predict charge
performance during a perforating
service under in situ conditions
 Evaluate optimum perforating
environments, sensitivity analysis of
formation characteristics, and the in-
situ response of the reservoir
 Unmatched charge performance
predictions help to understand
reservoir response
 Sound perforating efficacy analysis
enhances future exploitation of your
assets

Near Well Bore
Stimulation

EOB Applications

▌ In low-pressure formations where the reservoir pressure is

insufficient to effectively clean the perforations or when effective
perforation tunnel length is inside drilling damage radii
▌ Where formation competence is questionable, and the risk of
sticking guns with high underbalance exists
▌ For perforation breakdown (in preparation for other stimulation
methods)
▌ Treatment of zones with nearby water or gas contacts that cannot be
treated with conventional pumping
▌ Identify formation fluid type ahead of planned hydraulic frac job –
eliminate stimulation of wet zones

Modelling

▌ Simulating dynamic pressure response to near-wellbore stimulation

methods, innovative PulsFrac™ software provides Halliburton
engineers with a better understanding of the pressures created,
allowing more accurate estimations of perforation breakdown and
fracture propagation.
