Course Objectives:
1. To highlight the importance of analytics techniques (prescriptive) in making operations and supply chain
related decisions.
2. To provide hands on training to the students regarding implementation of operations related analytics
techniques using Excel Solver
3. Learn how to apply frameworks and models to contextualize and configure a supply chain
4. Build a comprehensive understanding of supply chain measures and be able to choose a set of performance
measures based on the need and the purpose
5. Understand the basic concept and scope of supply chain reporting and dashboards
6. Build a conceptual understanding of supply chain data, data sources, and data acquisition technologies
7. Learn how analytics tools are applied in various supply chain scenarios and be familiar with modern
technology levers
