Fire fighters should use water to keep fire exposed containers cool and disperse vapour. Move

Inhalation: A nuisance-causing concentration of airborne particles can be reached quickly when
dispersed.
Ingestion: Swallowing may cause nausea, vomiting, stomach distress.
Skin Contact: May cause slight irritation
Eye Contact: May cause moderate irritation
Carcinogenicity: This substance has no evidence of carcinogenic properties.

Effects of short-term exposure: May cause mechanical irritation to the eyes and respiratory tract.
Ingestion could cause effects on the blood. This may result in formation of methaemoglobin. The
effects may be delayed. Medical observation is indicated.

Acute and chronic health hazard: Anaemia, methaemoglobin formation, nephritis.
