Descartes conclude:
“THERE IS ONE THING THAT CANNOT BE
DOUBTED, AND THAT IS, DOUBT ITSELF.”

The way of the Tao


 YIN AND YANG - refers to the two polarities
of an entity – the bottom and the top, the
inside and the outside.
 Yin represent rest, darkness, the ground
below or Earth.
 Yang is the opposite – activity, brightness,
the sky above or heaven.
 In nature, the moon and winter is Yin and
the sun and summer is Yang.
 In society, the Emperor is Yang, the loyal
subjects are Yin.
 In the body, head is yang, the legs are Yin.
