Course :English Topics : Instruction , Short Notice and Caution
CLass / Semester : VII / 1 Time : 15 minutes
A. BASIC COMPETENCES ( LEARNING PURPOSE)
3.9 Understand the social functions, text structure and linguistic elements from special types of text in the form of
instructions, short notice, verbal and written, very short and simple.
4.9 Formulating special text in the form of instructions, signs or signs (short notice), verbal and written warnings
which are very short and simple, with due regard to social functions, text structure and linguistic elements,
correctly and in accordance context.
B. METHOD,MEDIA, TOOLS,SOURCES OF LEARNING
Learning Method : STS ( Science Technology Social) Method
Media : WAG, PPT, Google Form, Google Drive
Tools : Laptop/ SmartPhone, Headset
Learning Sources : Buku Penunjang Kurikulum 2013 Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Inggris When English
Rings The Bell, Kelas VII, Kemendikbud, Revisi Tahun 2017; English Dictionary; Google; Youtube
C. STEPS OF THE ACTIVITIES
OPENING ( 2minutes)
 Conduct opening activities by greeting and asking for news (Hello / Good morning / How are you?) Virtually through
Whats app group chat. Then invite students to pray from their homes, as a form of religious attitude.
 Teacher inform that the learning source, attendance list provided with google drive link that sent on WAG
 Teacher inform the learning method (STS) group activity (4prsons) and how long the activity will be in WAG (10
minutes)
MAIN ACTIVITY (10 minutes)
 Teacher ask or invite students to find and raise a problem/ issues that happen around them “what
Invitation Phase happen with your surroundings?” or teacher can give the topic of the pro and kontra problem to be
discussed show the picture of their school (send via WAG) “look at your class, school, it is very
dirty plastics is everywhere”
 Teacher inform the material that related with the picture of their school (Instruction , Short Notice
and Caution) and also benefits to them when learn about it
Exploration  Teacher guided /facilitate the Student to work with their groups to discuss and analyze the problem
Phase (why that is happen and who makes their school looks so dirty and how to solve it ( create a
conclusions after that to make steps of their next plan)
Submission of  The teacher guides students work with their group. Students explained and discuss in their own
the Explanation group what they get about the information of why their school is so dirty, and how to solve it.
and Solusion  The solution that they do using idea of Technology (Microsoft word / any app save as jpg, laptop,

 The teacher guided the students to explain in front of the class ( in the WAG) about the solution for
the “Dirty school full of plastics ”
Follow-Up
 Student sent the Pict of the Instruction , Short Notice and Caution that they make (jpg file) with

the explanation where they want to put it when the school is open after pandemic situation.
CLOSING (3Minutes)
Learners are involved in making summaries/conclusions related to the material that has just been discussed.
The teacher inform the homework and sent the sheet via WAG due in the next meeting
The teacher inform about the material at the next meeting.
The teacher concludes the lesson with a closing salutation
