Program Title: WORK IMMERSION 2018-2019

Program Description: K TO 12 Basic Education Program goals is to mold in learners the
competencies ,ethics, values and attitude relevant to education pursuit to further
education and joining the reality of working job. To achieve Department of Education
Targets, Work immersion is one of the basic required subjects incorporated in the
curriculum. This academic discipline will provide students with relevant information
and practical application on the principles and theories learned in school, enhance their
knowledge and technical know-how ,enrich their interpersonal skills through
communication and human interaction, developed good work habits, attitudes,
appreciation and respect towards work by providing them the opportunity to work in
industry or company under the supervision of industry experts and workers.
As stipulated in Deped Order No. 30 s. 2017 mandating all senior high school
toconduct
this activity although it was clarified in the Deped Order no. 39 series 2018 that GAS
students may opt to have research or CAPSTONE project parents opt
choose deployment to the different establishment for the purpose of preparing students
to
be familiar with the workplace, for employment simulation, apply their competencies in
the field of specialization.
