Lovely is the name of my pet. It is a female lovebird. I was clueless when I wanted to name it so I
named it lovely because it has beautiful and colorful feathers. I got it from a pet shop near my friend’s house.
Lovely has a small and stocky body. It also has a short and blunt tail and a large hooked upper beak. It
has a rainbow of yellow, green, and blue on its body, and a bright peachy-pink face.
I love lovely because it is very active. It always chirps anytime, especially in the morning. It sings
melodiously. It is also a smart bird. It produces a wide range of articulations, including the imitation to the
human voice, though it never talks.
I put lovely in a cage. During the day, I usually hang it outside the house so it can enjoy the warmth of
the sun. I love to sit on the veranda listening to music from my phone while enjoying it chirp.
One day, I was surprised to hear it singing my favorite song while I was playing the song from my
phone loudly. I stopped the song, but lovely is still singing. It is amazing, isn’t it?

A computer is a machine that stores and then processes information. It is a bit like human brain. It takes in facts or data
(the ‘input’), works on it very quickly using hardware and software and produces information (the ‘output’) for us to use.
Even the modern computer is useless if it is missing just two essential parts-hardware and software. Hardware is all the
parts you can see and touch-like the monitor (screen), keyboard and mouse. Software is all the sets of instructions-programs-
that tell the computer how to process information to accomplish different tasks. A computer is very important for human life.
Lots of students now use computers for homework and project researches. Most school records and information about
students are now stored on computers. Apart from being able to store a much greater amount of information, this process is
very environmentally friendly because we don’t have to use and keep lots of sheets of paper.
