Statement of the Problem

This study aims to identify the factors that affect the college course preference of
grade 12 students who took the STEM strand in Bicol College. To determine what are
the reasons behind those factors that affecting choosing the right course for them.

This study seeks to answer some of the questions:

1. What are the factors affecting the grade 12 STEM students in their college
courses preferences in terms of:

a. Personal Factors

b. Course Alignment

c. Family’s Decision/Influence

d. Peer Influence

2. How do these factors affect their decision-making on what course they will
take in college?

3. What course of action should be taken by the Bicol College institution for the
grade 12 STEM students to be aware of their preferred courses?

Statement of the Problem

This study attempts to determine the benefits of Computer Aided Leaning (CAL)

Approach in enhancing the academic performance of STEM students.

Specifically, this study sought to answer the following questions:

1. What are the benefits of Computer-Aided Learning (CAL) Approach in the

scholastic performance of STEM students of Bicol College?

2. How do Computer-Aided Learning (CAL) Approach helps STEM students along
