2. The three level of Christology:


2.1. The pre-existence of the Son, through him all things were made, sustaining all
things by his powerful word.
2.2. The humanity of the Son, the Incarnation, Jesus’ name was mentioned nine
times. He has been through temptation, the prayers and supplications with
crying and tears in the garden of Gethsemane. He learned obedience from what
he suffered and was made perfect.
2.3. The exaltation of Jesus, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven,
he has been appointed heir of all things, as the forerunner, to enter into the
heavenly sanctuary.

3. Christ’s Superiority
3.1. Superior to the ministering spirits-angels(1:14)

3.3. Superior to Joshua who is not able to give out rest(4:8)

4. Become the high priest according to the order of Melchizedek


4.1. Abraham gave Melchizedek a tenth part of all.(7:2)
4.2. Without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of
days nor end of life, Melchizedek is like the Son of God. (7:3)
4.3. The lesser person is blessed by the greater(7:7)

5. Christ offered the once and eternal sin offering
