Step 3.
RE-INSTALLING THE WATT-HOUR METER.
■ Center the watt-hour meter over the Storm Trapper
HSE so the jaw blades are seated over the
corresponding jaw openings of the arrester.
■ Firmly push the watt-hour meter into place so the
blades are fully inserted into the jaw openings in the
arrester.
■ Secure the watt-hour meter to the Storm Trapper
HSE with a locking ring placed over the interface
between the arrester and the meter.
■ Install and secure a new meter seal to the locking
ring.
■ Before leaving the site:
– Verify that the arrester is functional by observing
that the LED is illuminated.
– Verify that the watt-hour meter is operating.
– Check that all meter seals are in place and secured.
