Online / virtual International Symposium on Insights and Challenges in


Linguistics, Translation and Literature

The Department of English Language and Translation at the Applied Science Private
University cordially invites you to the International Symposium on Linguistics,
Translation and Literature to be held on 11 January 2020 at the Applied Science Private
University.

It aims to be one of the leading international events for academic researchers in


language-related fields. Selected refereed papers of the conference will be published in
a special issue of the Applied Science University Journal for Humanities. This
Symposium is mainly a platform to foster ties and links between professors of English
language and translation at Arab universities and scholars around the world heir
colleagues in the world. Keynote speakers will be announced later. This will be the
fourth international symposium organized by the Department of English Language and
Translation.

Guidelines for submission

Please read the following guidelines rules before submitting an abstract.

1- The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of
the content of the abstract before submission.
2- The presenting author must be listed as the first author.
3- Abstracts previously presented will not be accepted.
4- All abstracts accepted for presentation will be published on the university
website prior to the Symposium.
5- You may submit more than one abstract. However, presenters that are
accepted for oral presentation will be permitted to give only one oral
presentation.
6- Please note the submitting author will receive all correspondence about the
abstract, so we advise that the submitting author details that are entered are the
same as those of the presenting author.
7- Abstracts may not be edited/updated after final submission. In case of minor
changes after final submission, please contact the organizing committee.
8- Presenting author's contact details (should be the same details as the
submitting author so that the presenting author receives the correspondence
about the abstract)
