    a françoise your pain is where just

    point out to me okay and this kind of

    stops you flying alright now it may

    sound like a stupid question on a scale

    of one to ten where ten is absolute


    agony where is it just at the moment

    okay right again it may sound like a

    silly question if you could give a color

    to that pain what would it be okay right

    look I just want to show you something

    and what can I do this very quickly just

    put your hands upside down on your knees

    like that and it looks crazy just take

    your feet off the floor there a little

    bit that's good it's quite bright

    sunshine here so you just pop your head

    back a little bit and okay you don't

    have to squint so you can just close

    your eyes let's just close your eyes

    doesn't really matter okay let's send a

    nice deep breath in now as you breathe

    out just let you have your head fall

    forward that's nice like a big heavy

    steel cannonball nice heavy weight

    that's fantastic

    now breathe in again as you breathe out

    which can attorney hands over so you

    relax your hands and arms excellence and

    a couple more of these breathe in as you

    breathe out this time I want you to let

    your shoulders really sag down okay let

    the shoulders sag down excellence and

    time you can let your feet go flat on

    picture of that area of pain paint it

    really black concentrate on the shape of

    it into your creative imagination in

    your mind's eye it's black but imagine

    at the same time the edges going a

    little bit blurred a little bit faint as

    they go blurred and faint so that black

    and when I count back from nine and a

    half as we go nine and a half nine eight

    and a half eight that area of black now

    going to a deep purple color nice deep

    purple

    warm purple and as we go from eight

    seven six the edges beginning to melt

    away beginning to melt away like like a

    sheet of ice in the bucket of warm water

    actually in a bowl of warm water so

    seven six that deep purple now going to

    a nice deep blue a nice deep sea blue

    six five that deep blue that sea blue

    now going to a kind of as your blue a

    sky-blue and as it turns to as your blue


    just think of that shape getting smaller

    and smaller with the edges melting away

    now just like one ice cube remaining and

    as the ice cube just melts away like

    it's melting in a glass of warm water

    three two one and when I count to three

    I will actually count backwards from

    three three two when I count to three

    two one I'm gonna open your eyes my pain

    will be gone completely and forever

    find that relaxing yes I think so okay

    that's nice on a scale of one to ten

    with the pain now you can open your eyes

    my name is Francois nel I have been put

    under hypnosis by a Andrew Newton on the

    stress of Correction the pain management

    I've got serious back pain is what is

    chest per inch from accidents that

    occurred in the past and after learning

    some self-hypnosis I can literally

    excuse myself from a crowd just pop into

    the bathroom for a couple of minutes and

    do a relaxing technique and actually

    imagine the plane as I drill a hole in

    my in my chest and actually measuring

    the pain seeping under the every time I

    take a nice deep breath in the pain just

    dissipates and dissipates it gets less

    and less and less and it stopped me from

    taking a whole lot of medication but

    four to five calif lame d is a day

    that's anti-inflammatory Poe as well as

    4,000 injections I used to do myself so

    it's been six months now I've had zero

    medication taken for any pain
