12. RESOURCES SUMMARY
PURPOSE: The ICS 201 provides the Incident Commander (and the Command and General
Staffs assuming command of the incident) with basic information regarding the incident/event
situation and the resources allocated. It also serves as an initial action workshop and as a
permanent record of the initial response.
PREPARATION: The ICS 201 is prepared by the Incident Commander (IC) for presentation to
the incoming IC, the Responsible Official, or other officials as appropriate.
DISTRIBUTION: The ICS 201 is duplicated and distributed before the initial briefing of the
Command and General Staffs or other responders as appropriate. Pages 1 – 2 are usually
given to the Situation Unit while pages 3 – 4 are given to the Resource Unit.

On or about 1000H 15 Sept 20xx, the southern area of Region XX was hit by what felt like an earthquake.
Damage is being reported in various locations in the municipality of Rizal and nearby Barangays but there is no
current accurate assessment of the overall damage.
As per most recent unverified reports, the downtown district particularly the southern and eastern areas
experienced landslides resulting from the earthquake. Several damages were also reported at Ridge school. The
police arrived at the area to investigate possible trapped students
Communication, water, and power have been disrupted in the eastern and southern part.
Responders are cautioned against live wires, manholes and dangers from earthquake debris

7. OBJECTIVES
1. Ensure the safety of the responders and the general public throughout the operational period.
2. Conduct rapid damage assessment and needs analysis in downtown district within 8 hours.
3. Conduct search, rescue and retrieval for possibly trapped victims inside the Ridge school within 8 hours.

The Barangay DRRM Committee at Ridge Valley conducted rapid damage assessment and
