There are no tools needed to remove the front cover. To remove the
LIM front cover:
ATTENTION
To avoid shock hazard or personal injury, assure
that all power has been removed before
proceeding. This system may have multiple
sources of power. More than one disconnect
switch may be required to de-energize the
system.
ATTENTION
To avoid hazard of electrical shock, verify that all
voltage on the capacitors has been discharged
before attempting to service, repair, or remove
this unit. This product contains stored energy
devices. You should only attempt the procedures
in this document if you are qualified to do so and
familiar with solid-state control equipment and
the safety procedures in publication NFPA 70E.

Note: You may need two screwdrivers to release the control circuit breaker (CB2) and auxiliary contact latches at
the same time.
Replacing Circuit Breakers You will need a flat-blade screwdriver to replace the circuit breaker(s).
To replace LIM circuit breaker(s):
Note: Refer to the wire labels (as shown in the figures beginning on
page 6) and/or Block Diagrams (beginning on page 18) when
reconnecting the circuit breaker wiring.
Removing the Auxiliary You will need a flat-blade screwdriver to remove the auxiliary contact
from the control circuit breaker.
Contact
3. Locate the clip fastener on the bottom side of the auxiliary contact
and use a screwdriver to gently pry the clip downward to release
the contact. Refer to Figure 8 for an illustration.

3. Pry the auxiliary contact away from the adjacent circuit breakers
using a screwdriver as shown in Figure 9. Refer to the figures
beginning on page 6 to identify the auxiliary contact for your Line
Interface Module.

4. Pry the auxiliary contact away from the circuit breaker assembly.
Replacing the Auxiliary You will need a flat-blade screwdriver to replace the auxiliary contact
from the control circuit breaker.
Contact
3. Align pins and press CB2A and CB2 together until the bottom clip
latches. You will hear an audible click and the sides of the
breakers will be flush.
2. Remove the tab from the left side of the auxiliary contact, as
shown in Figure 10.

Removing and Replacing You will need a flat-blade screwdriver to remove and replace the fuse
block from the DIN rail.
the Fuse Block
IMPORTANT This procedure only applies to FB1 in 2094-AL75S,
-BL75S, or -XL75S-Cx models. Other Line Interface
Modules do not have a field replaceable fuse block.
2. Locate FB1 inside your LIM. Refer to figures 3 and 4 for the
location.
Note: The fuse block (FB1) is mounted to the DIN rail in the same
way as circuit breakers CB2 and CB3.
Note: Refer to the wire labels (as shown in the figures beginning on
page 6) and/or Block Diagrams (beginning on page 18) when
reconnecting the fuse block wiring.
Note: It is not necessary to remove the LIM front cover to access FB1
fuses.
2. Locate FB1 inside your LIM. Refer to figures 3 and 4 for the
location.
Removing the Cooling Fan A cooling fan is only included with the 2094-BL02 (460V) LIM.
Whenever input power is applied to the LIM, the cooling fan will
operate (even if the LIM circuit breakers CB1, CB2, and CB3 are
turned off). Fan life is approximately 20,000 hours.
3. Remove the four phillips screws that hold the finger guard and fan
in place (as shown in Figure 11).
Figure 11
Removing the Finger Guard
5. Pull the fan away from the LIM and disconnect the power cord, as
shown in Figure 12.
Figure 12
Removing the Cooling Fan
Replacing the Cooling Fan You will need a #2 phillips screwdriver to replace the cooling fan. To
replace the LIM cooling fan:
2. Connect the replacement fan to the power cord and place the fan
back inside the LIM.
ATTENTION
To avoid damage to equipment ensure the fan is
positioned so that airflow is in an outward
direction (arrow on fan points away from the
LIM).
3. Replace the finger guard and the four phillips screws. Torque
screws to 0.9 Nm (8 lb-in.).
ATTENTION
To avoid injury or damage to equipment, ensure
the finger guard is in place before replacing the
four screws.
4.
If you: Then:
1. Replace the LIM inside the

cabinet in step 2 2. You have finished replacing
the LIM cooling fan.
Did not remove the LIM from You have finished replacing
the cabinet in step 2 the LIM cooling fan.
