Three Factor Biometric Reader
LNL-BIO-007
The LNL-BIO-007 access reader is durable, dependable, and competitively priced. Designed for
indoor or outdoor use, the reader combines three forms of authentication: proximity reader, PIN
pad, and fingerprint sensor. The PIN and fingerprint authentication are standard; the proximity
reader is optional. All three reader modes can be configured to support timezone control.
The BIO-007 transmits a credential number to the Intelligent System Controller through a Wiegand
interface. The ISC then delivers fingerprint template(s) to the BIO-007 though the LNL-500B
Biometric Gateway and matching is performed within the BIO-007. The results of the match are
then returned to the Gateway for appropriate action and reporting to OnGuard.
Access Control
The indestructible keypad is based on BaranTec’s patented Piezo Switch technology. The
power-driven Bioscrypt fingerprint sensor utilizes a powerful DSP processor. Unlike other biometric
products, this sensor is hidden until a valid credential and/or PIN is presented. Then the fingerprint
sensor door opens. After verification occurs, the fingerprint sensor door closes into a secure
vandal-resistant position.

Lenel Command Keypad
LNL-CK
The LNL-CK Lenel Command Keypad integrates a 32-character backlit LCD display with a
16-position keypad and a reader port. The command keypad serves as a command reader,
a reader from which user commands can be issued to execute local I/O functions. Reader
command programming is accomplished using the OnGuard System Administration application.
The LNL-CK display indicates time in either 12 or 24-hour clock format. The format is automatically
chosen based on the regional settings of the computer on which the Communication Server is
running. The LNL-CK display also provides command status and other text feedback during reader
Access Control
operations. For example, when performing the Extended Held Open command, the LNL-CK
displays the countdown time before the Held Open time is reached, as well as basic intrusion
arm/disarm functions.
The LNL-CK communicates with the Lenel Intelligent System Controller (ISC) either through direct,
multidrop, 2-wire RS-485 communication to the ISC, or through a reader port of a Lenel Dual
Reader Interface Module (LNL-1320).
The LNL-CK may be configured in one of three ways: as a stand-alone RS-485 device, as an
alternate reader to a primary reader, or as a reader device connected to the Wiegand input of a
LNL-1320. In any of these modes, an optional reader with a Data1/Data0 or clock/data output may
be connected to the LNL-CK to provide Card Only, Card or PIN, or Card and PIN capability.

Stand-alone Video Recorders - OnGuard GO!
DVC-DELL
(DVC-ST, DVC-EX & DVC-1U)
Customers looking for stand-alone digital video recorders can use a Lenel video recorder with the
OnGuard GO! configurations. The stand-alone video recorder’s OnGuard GO! configuration has
the administration applications and database on the video recorder, saving money by not requiring
a separate security server to launch the most powerful security system available. Furthermore,
customers can take the single stand-alone video recorder and add OnGuard’s robust Access
Control, Fire & Intrusion and ID Management applications, as well as countless software options.
For customers expanding an existing analog environment by upgrading to a DVR or by embracing
IP by migrating to network video, Lenel video recorders offer the flexibility to initiate an integrated
NVR / GO!
security architecture by focusing on stand-alone digital video, then expanding the system when the
time is right.
