BOOK 2014
It gives me immense pleasure to introduce to you our graduating batch of 2014. I would like to take this opportunity to
appreciate the hard work of our graduating batch, who have put in endless efforts to prove themselves as the most
talented individuals.
At NUST Business School (NBS), we are committed to help students think about and begin to shape their professional
career trajectories from the moment they begin their educational careers with us. We know, however, that student suc-
cess encompasses aspects of their life beyond their academic work, and believe that graduate study should be viewed as
part of a well-rounded life experience. As an institution providing higher education to members of our society, we also
believe in playing a part in contributing directly and indirectly to the socio-economic development of the country.
Our focus here is not only to impart the best possible business acumen, but also to thrive on developing tomorrow’s
manager and providing opportunities for refining the skills needed to succeed in today’s corporate environment. For this
purpose NBS provide its students with opportunities to gain international experience, through participation in place-
ments, internships and exchange programs with universities and companies in the United States, Germany, Malaysia, Tur-
key and Singapore, amount others.
At NBS we believe in providing maximum support to our student not only during the period they spend with us, but also
after they have become alumni of our prestigious institution. For this purpose we have established a Centre for industrial
linkages (CIL) that helps students find the right job in their preferred field, with their “employer of choice”. CIL achieves
this through developing strong and tangible linkages between employers and NUST graduates, and also by aligning the
needs of employers with the competencies of our graduates.
Our graduates perform well in an increasingly competitive job market and are highly regarded by employers around the
world. Students choose to come to NBS to be a part of the educational experience and to join the ranks of our alumni
whose aspirations have been heightened and their minds broadened before they step into the corporate world with a
sense of institutional pride. I wish our graduating batch best of luck in their future endeavors.
