ACTIVITY #2

My Dear Friend,

Hello how are you? I missed you so much. I want to tell you the routines and
reactions I had during this pandemic. You know what I always watch K-drama and
Thai series. I also exercise and started to lose weight from September until now.
Mostly I slept all the time when I’m tired. I also helped my family to do the chores
here in our house, and lastly I can be a good chef now, I can cook many dishes now,
because my grandmother thought me. How about you? What’s your activities
during this pandemic?
Application:
1. Today you learned that our reactions to the stressful
events of pandemic or any other form of disaster
were normal and valid . How does this new learning
that my reactions and feelings toward Covid-
19/disaster were normal after all help me?

- As people across the country face the continued threat of the coronavirus, the
situation continues to be stressful for everyone.

The continued challenges of COVID-19 can create feelings of stress, fear and
nervousness. These feelings are normal, and people typically bounce back after difficult
times.

2.How can you apply this learning to your life

especially after experiencing such a pandemic?

- Stay informed with accurate, reliable information through trusted resources. Limit
exposure to media coverage, especially for children, and avoid social media accounts
and news outlets that promote fear or rumor. Try to eat healthy, well-balanced meals and
drink plenty of water, and lastly be patient with yourself and others. It’s common to have
any number of temporary stress reactions, such as fear, anger, frustration and anxiety.

-
Reactions

I felt different emotions when I am watching because of the plot of the

stories, but also I felt stress or lack of sleep in the morning because
sometimes I slept almost 5 a.m. watching.

At first I was too lazy to exercise and not to happy but when your body
is seeking for it, or you get used to it and you enjoys it you will be
happy.

I slept at the afternoon after working some chores in our house it helps
me to relax and help me to have a peace of mind

I am also happy and a bit stressful when cooking.

Question:

1. Why do you think it is important for all of you to learn about whom you can
go to for our own needs of your family?
- So that you will know who to call when you really
needed it.

Question:
1.What have you realized about yourself after drawing the kite?

- I realized that, I am not alone because I know my strength and sources of

strengths, even when I am at my weakest.
Abstract:
1. How are you similar to the kite? What are your strength as a person?
- I compare myself as a kite because as akite it can fly high but not always, there will always have
obstacle or problems just like our life, it’s not always being happy or being on top, we encounter
struggles and failures but that failures will make us stronger so that when we face struggles and
problems again, we can fight and go for it but we are more strong and braver, because we have
strength

My strength as a person is my patience by the help of my family, Faith in God that God is my
source for it.

Short poem:
Saranggolang Matatag

Tali, kahoy, plastic o papel ang bumubuo sa akin

Mga simpleng bagay na mahahanap mo saan man tumingin

Mga taong naging gabay upang ito’y tumibay

Nasaksihan kahit na ako ay wala pang buhay.
