1. Pull or push is called force.


2. Force can move a body at rest or bring a body in motion to rest or it may change the
direction of the motion or change the shape of an object.
3. A work is done when something is moved through a distance or when a moving
object is brought to rest or when it changes the direction of motion.
4. Energy is the capacity to do work.

6. Friction is the force exerted by the surface on a moving object against the direction
of the motion.
7. Wheels and lubricants help to reduce the effect of friction.

not stop. Hence, friction is a necessary evil.
