A Bibliography On North East India
A Bibliography On North East India
A Bibliography On North East India
Identifying the factors influencing social change in northeast India and understanding
the emerging issues isthe process of challenge for social science research. Considering
the need in this direction, Ialong with my colleagues Dr. S. N. Chari, Dr. Indra Kaul, Mr.
Narender Kumar with help of assistants made an effort to compilethe bibliography on
North-East India. It provides ready access to bibliographic details of Journal Articles,
Books, Proceedings, Theses, and Research Projects on emerging social issues on
Northeast Indiawhich are available in NASSDOC. In this publication, “Table of Contents”
is arranged under subject of the titles and at its end Author Index and Keyword Index
have been provided in alphabetical order.
Indeed it gives us immense satisfaction to place this work before the academic
community and the general public. We hope scholars and users find this volume useful
and informative Scholars can consult or obtain photocopy of relevant articles against a
nominal payment.
I owe gratitude to the Member Secretary, Indian Council of Social Science Research
(ICSSR) Prof. Virendra Kumar Malhotra for his constructive suggestionand
encouragement in bringing out this volume.
