MODULE DESCRIPTION: This module provides knowledge, skills and attitude required to store,
retrieve, analyze and present health data using word processing, spreadsheet, access and power
point applications. It also provides the competence required to identify and utilize and internet
services and components of a computer.

LO1:Apply basic computer skills
 Computer components and types are identified.
 Computer components are installed and set ready to use.
 Power source for computer use and safety is ensured.
 Computer use authorization is administered.
LO2: Utilize software applications
 Appropriate software application is identified to use for data processing.
 Data process is handled with Microsoft office word processor.
 Data analysis and process is demonstrated with Microsoft excel.
 Database for health data management is created and used with Microsoft Access.
 Data presentation is worked out with MS power point presentation.
LO3: Identify and utilize internet services
 Internet/intranet services are identified and executed.
 Resources are searched, identified and retrieved on the internet
 Reports are sent to the next level using e-mail services and received feedback.
