PLANT LAYOUT

The most crucial part at early plant design process are to place the equipment’s and other
facilities at the plant. The design of plant layouts aims at achieving a minimum quantity of
materials handling, reducing bottlenecks, minimizing machine interference and also
increasing flexibility, safety and the morale of employees. A well-designed plant layout must
include emergency routes. Therefore, an emergency response plan can be performed if
incident happen.
