1. Objective:
This SOP is for change over procedure of lube oil cooler A & B.
2. Scope:
This SOP is applicable for change over procedure of lube oil
cooler A & B.
3. Responsibility :
Unit Control Engineer, Field Engineer and Desk Engineer
4. Safety PPE’s:
Ear Plugs, Safety Goggles, Hand Gloves, etc.
7. Operating Procedure
Change over Procedure from A to B
1. Ensure there is no permit on cooler B.
2. Ensure cooler-B oil inlet drain is closed.
3. Crack open the oil inlet vent.
4. Slowly open the equalizing valve.
5. Close the vent after oil came out of vent.
6. Slowly open cooler-B DMCW outlet valve.
7. Slowly open cooler-B DMCW inlet valve.
8. Rotate large hand wheel, of change over valve,
anticlockwise till it rotates freely.
9. Rotate small hand wheel , of change over valve ,
clockwise to 90 deg. ( Till it rotates freely )
