    This CD-ROM publication reproduces a volume of the Nondestructive Testing Handbook series in portable document
    format (PDF) files. Adobe Reader® Version 7.09 of the Adobe® Reader® or later is required to access the files and to
    utilize the Advanced Search function.

    Features of this CD-ROM


    Features include linking throughout the book and color illustrations. In addition, all text for the book has been
    indexed for Adobe® Reader® Advanced Search. This enhanced search feature allows the user to search for a topic
    within an active document or in all chapters of the book simultaneously. Platform specific versions of the Adobe®
    Reader® can be downloaded from the Adobe® Web site <http://www.adobe.com>. The user is advised to check
    system requirements and compatibility before installation. Note that content copying or extraction has been disabled
    for this and all Nondestructive Testing Handbook CD-ROM publications. Low resolution printing is enabled.

    Explanation of Linking Structure


    Begin by opening any chapter document (files ending with the file extension .pdf) or by accessing the table of
    contents chapter links found in the Front Matter for the NDT Handbook for this volume. Each PDF document is
    formatted to open with bookmark links in the navigation pane (left side of the document window) that direct you to
    points within the current document and to the remaining chapters for the rest of the book.
