    1. He was born one day to the sunny skies i.e. in the
    summer season.
    2. The light surprised him as pups are born blind and so
    when their eyes open, the light dazzles them.
    3. His mother fed him when he was small.
    4. He had a brother close to his age, with whom he played
    every day. This is how he learned to have fun.
    5. He used to feel cold and numb at night. He would wait for
    the sun to rise.
    6. He was running through the field one day and fell. That
    is how he hurt his toe.

    1. Animals have the same feelings as humans. They also
    feel happy or sad. They enjoy playing around and having
    fun like humans. When they get hurt, they feel pain and
    discomfort.
    2. The message of the poem is that we should be kind to
    animals as they also have the same feelings as we have.
    They cannot speak but they love and feel hurt just as we
    do.
