2. Course Main Objective
Apply the basic clinical knowledge and skills, in follow up of normal pregnancy and labor.
Acquire competencies necessary for diagnoses and management of different obstetric
disorders.
Acquire the appropriate basic knowledge and skills to attend obstetric emergencies.
Perform some minor operative obstetrics procedures in skill lab.
Acquire lifelong learning competences necessary for contentious professional
development.

1.1 Describe the clinical presentation , causes, clinical manifestations , K2
complications management and prevention of the common Obstetrics
and gynecology disorders
1.2 List of complication diseases in Obstetrics and gynecology and how to K3

2 Skills :
2.1 Obtain medical history, examination and recognize the differential S1
diagnoses, best investigation and adequate treatment for Obstetrics and
Gynecology emergencies and common infection
2.2 Perform a complete systematic physical examination, essential clinical S3
procedures and Manage common medical emergencies including life or
organ threatening conditions.

3.1 apply the principles of basic medical, clinical history taken and C1
examination
3.2 Practice evidence-based medicine in providing health and medical C2
