    Migration is important for the transfer of manpower and skills and provides the

    needed knowledge and innovation for global growth.

    The Columbian Exchange greatly affected almost every society on earth, bringing


    destructive diseases that depopulated many cultures, and also circulating a wide
    variety of new crops and livestock that, in the long term, increased rather than
    diminished the world human population.

    While cities provide essential job opportunities and social


    networks, suburbs provide the necessary housing for the regional population, and it
    will become increasingly important for suburbs to grow to support cities as this
    population continues to rise.

    representative democracy arguably one of the best democratic systems as it


    allows the voices of individual communities to be heard by the state.

    Free enterprise is a key to prosperity of USA. because it allows individuals to own


    most of the resources and can operate with little control from the government.

    The service industry makes an important contribution to Gross domestic product


    in most countries, providing jobs, inputs and public services for the economy. Trade
    in services can improve economic performance and provide a range of traditional
    and new export opportunities.

    Post industrial economy one where manufacturing no longer plays a dominant


    role.

    A multinational corporation helps the technological growth of the country as well.


    They bring new innovations and technological advancements to the host country.
    They help modernize the industry in developing countries. 
    Megalopolis is what Main Street is for most communities. It is the place where
    government, most of the banks, the big offices, the newspaper and broadcasting
    stations, the important stores, the schools, libraries and theaters are concentrated.

    Metropolitan area an area of population usually with a central or core city and
    surrounding towns or suburbs.
