1.2 Submittals
A. Product Data: Submit copies of manufacturer’s latest published literature for
materials specified herein for approval, and obtain approval before ordering
materials.
B. Shop Drawings: Submit shop drawings for work specified herein for approval.
C. Maintenance Data: Submit maintenance data and spare parts lists for each type of
manufactured piping specialty.
PART 2 - PRODUCTS
2.1 General Requirements
A. Mixing of material sets, manufacturers, and fixtures types is not acceptable,
only one manufacturer is to be adopted for all vitreous china fixtures, and for the
chrome fittings.
B. Vitreous ware for the fixtures shall be first quality, non absorbent china. Enamel
ware shall be constructed of smooth sound iron castings. Fittings for fixtures shall
be first quality in heavy red brass castings properly finished and high qualit
y chrome plated. All wall hung fixtures to be caulked between walls and fixtures.
C. Final color of vitreous china fixtures will be decided following architectural
requirements.
3. x 15 mm for laboratory use, with 9 mm NPS thread and tapered hose end.
5. 15 mm chrome plated mixer type with swivel spout and flanges, sink
mounted complete with stop angle valves and flexibles similar to Grohe model
No. 31819.
D. Pantry sink type KS-2: Sink to be similar to KS-1 but with bowl on left:

splash back 1500 x 500. Trim and accessories to be similar to those specified under
KS-1.
F. Pantry sink KS-4: Stainless steel Type 304 inset type for fixing into counter
top, double bowl single left drainer, 16 gauge thickness with 10 cm high splash
back
1500 x 500 mm. Trims and accessories to be similar to those specified under KS-1.
2. Chrome plated 32 mm P-trap with wall tube and wall flange, adjustable type.
6. White vitreous china soap holder recessed type, or stainless steel as required
by architect and shown on details drawings.
2. 6 liters cistern with fittings and accessories with chrome plated two levels
double push buttons (50% and 100% flushing)
5. 600 mm long plastic coated grabrail (specially manufactured for disabled toilet).
6. 600 mm hinged support rail plastic coated with anti-theft roll holder (specially
manufactured for disabled toilet).
7. Stainless steel toilet paper holder recessed type with anti-theft roll holder
similar to Bobrick B-667 or approved equal or vitreous china as required by
architect and shown on details drawings.
B. Shower Type SH-1: White vitreous china receptacle 800 x 800 x 70 mm with
anti skid floor and 50 mm corner drain opening and P-trap similar to Villeroy &
Boch or approved equal, shower to be complete with the following trim and
accessories or approved equal:
1. Chrome plated mixer, automatic closing type, adjustable flow, semi
recessed type similar to Delabie, “Tempomix 790” or approved equal.
3. Shower head to be anti-vandal type, scale proof, orientable head, and jet
type similar to Delabie Tempomix 712 or approved equal.
5. Stainless steel double robe hook similar to Bobrick B-670 or approved equal
or vitreous china as per architectural requirements.
6. Shower Type SH-2: to be similar to SH-1 but without
receptacle
2.7 Miscellaneous Toilets Accessories (stainless steel satin finish)
A. Paper towel dispenser: To dispense 400 fold towels without adjustment or adaptors.
Cabinet to be in stainless steel satin finish. Door to have tumbler lock with
special key and piano hinge, dispenser to be similar to model B262 from
Bobrick or ap- proved equal.
B. Hand dryer: heavy duty type Dryer to be of the autopilot type, surface mounted
with stainless steel satin finish cover. Dryer to be suitable for 50 Hz operation and
to be similar to model No B-700 from Bobrick or approved equal.
C. Liquid Soap dispenser: Dispenser to be in stainless steel construction with satin
fin- ish. It is to be complete with dispenser valve special key for refill access
and un- breakable refill window. Dispenser to be similar to model B2111 from
Bobrick or approved equal
2.8 Miscellaneous Items
A. Bibcok with perineal hose: to be of very heavy duty type trigger sprays hand
shower head, with wall holder, wall mounted abgle valve, and heavy duty drome

F. Water cooler to be complete with built-in strainer and pressure regulator, P-trap
for connection to drain.
G. Obtain from one of the following: General Electric, Elkay, SunRock or
approved equal.
H. Vanity mirror of dimensions as shown on details drawings.
I. Curtain rail stainless steel wall fixed of dimensions as shown on details
drawings. PART 3 - Execution
3.1 Verification of Conditions
A. Examine the substrates adjoining construction and conditions under which the
work would be installed. Contractor shall correct unsatisfactory conditions
detrimental to the timely and proper completion of the work. Do not proceed with
installation until unsatisfactory conditions have been corrected.
3.2 Installation
A. General: All wall hung fixtures not supported on chain carriers shall be supported on
wall hangers furnished with the fixtures by the fixture manufacturer.
B. Drill holes through tile walls for wall bolts. Punched holes will not be accepted. Nuts
and washers shall be buried in plaster or tile finish.
C. All plumbing fixtures locations should be properly done as per approved
drawings and details as for heights, distances and alignments.
D. Prior to any installation, Contractor should install a mock up sample for each type
of fixtures specified in this section and notify the Engineer accordingly for
approval, in order to proceed with the installation of all the plumbing fixtures
accordingly.
3.3 Field Control
A. After the piping has been pressure and smoke tested and the fixtures have been
set and trim piped and prior to practical completion, each fixture supply and drain
shall be flowed to observe proper dynamic action of the set.
B. Contractor shall notify the Engineer as such time as the potable water

systems, drainage, waste and vent piping is completed and plumbing fixtures are
complete free of any physical damages, all connections and fixtures are properly
installed and fixed properly (especially for mixers and taps) and ready to be flow
tested on an ac- ceptable basis.
C. After the approval of the Engineer of the said works, the use of plumbing fixtures b
y the Contractor personnel is not allowed, otherwise the approval will be deemed to
be void or null, and the Engineer reserve his right to reject any used fixtures.
3.4 Spares
A. Furnish spare parts and extra stock as per the manufacturer’s recommendations and
Engineer’s approved list of spare parts.
