ARTE PRACTICE Learning Segment Worksheet

Instruction process/Procedure/Explore/Guided Practice:


Time needed: 80 minutes
● Students will research images of their chosen icon
● Students will collect images from found objects (magazines,labels,etc.)
● Students will cut out these objects and place them in container or bag
● Students will play with juxtaposition of images
● Students will place images down and glue them in place
● Students will lay artwork to dry

● Students will write about why they chose their icon, and explain how the images in the
collage relate to them
● Students will place artwork next to writing
