Lesson [Summary]
Mina and the Dinosaurs is a short story that highlighted the
adventure experienced by Mina when her mother once took her to
watch the movie ‘Jurassic World’. The chapter gives emphasis to
existence of dinosaurs on this world million years ago. It also
includes information related to their body structure, shape, diet,
species etc.
As we proceed with the chapter we will come across valuable
information shared by Mina’s Grandma to help her make a chart
about dinosaurs for the science exhibition at her school.

iguanodon.

1. We know that Mina liked the film she had gone to watch because
although she felt really frightened many times, she could not take her
eyes off the screen. She had even forgotten to ask for popcorn. She
was also eager to talk about it with her Grandma when she returned
home.

5. The dinosaurs in the book are compared to elephants, lizards,
kangaroos and crocodiles. The babies ware as big as elephants. Their
skin was scaled like lizard skin and looked like the skins of black
crocodiles. They looked like huge kangaroos.
