was recorded in average unit price of exports to EU. The WTO agreement provides for
making textile trade completely free from 2005.The textile export figures for the first ten
months of the current year released by the Export Promotion Bureau revealed that the
textile quota exports to the US improved by 24 per cent while the increase in exports to
EU countries at the end of October 2002 registered an increase of 16.6 per cent in terms
