been observed that it is a non segregated

vessel heading speed is 8Knots then the
number of days at sea will be 0.5.

STACKYARD Stack Details : As per stack inspection it has
been observed that there are two grade of
stack pile.
a. Under layer – It has been observed
that approximately 4 to 5% of
laterite , weathered & Pre-matured
stones mixed with basalt rocks.
b. Quarry Run – It is a non segregated
stack and fine content is high,hence
segregation to be done prior
transportation.

vessel heading speed is 8Knots then the

MAJOR CONCERNS:
 Quarries are not running in planned way to produce required quantity of rock per day. A monthly weekly and daily plan needs to be prepared and
implemented to achieve at least a daily production of 1000 MT/day from each quarry.
 At least 03 faces needs to be opened in order to plan a blast every day in each quarry. For this O/B removal work needs to be accelerated.
 Stock piling is not being done in proper way which is resulting transportation stop every now-a-days in all quarries.
 Haul road condition in Ashapura Quarry is not good (high gradient), thus in spite of very good quality rock raising of material is slow, it needs
tomaintained.
 More Quarries needs to be started in order to achieve required quantity.
 Contractor needs to keep at least one mining professional in each quarry in order to plan & execute the work in proper way. At present only 02
mining professional is available.

ROCK QUALITY:
 SHIV QUARRY – Rock quality is not even and very good hence much time&energy is being consumed in segregation. Rock seam being quite
fractured, due to which armour production is not possible, only core rock (0.1-500kg) is possible.
 SAHYOG QUARRY – Rock quality is quite good but seam is fractureddue to which armour production is not possible, only core rock (0.1-500kg) is
possible.
 ASHAPURA INDUSTRIES QUARRY- Rock quality is very good having columnar joints at wide spacing, hence good for armour production. And
remaining can be used as core rock (0.1-500kg).
 HARESHBHAI NAJBHAI KHUMAN QUARRY – Rock quality is very good, both armour and core rock (0.1-500kg) may be planned from this quarry.
 SITARAM QUARRY - Rock quality is very good, both armour and core rock(0.1-500kg) may be planned from this quarry.
