 General Information Regarding the Block
Bishunpur Block was established on 02/10/1952. It is situated nearly 52 KM from District
Headquarter Gumla. Senha Block is situated in north of Bishunpur Block, Whereas Chainpur
Block is situated in south of Bishunpur and in east & west Ghagra & Mahuatand bloc is
situated. 2 Kms from the Block Headquarter there is a Dhadhari Fall situated in Serka
Panchayat. 08 Kms from the Block headquarter there is Paanch Pandav mountain range. And
last but not least 30 kms from Bishunpur there is Neterhat which is well known for the
beautiful landscapes.

1983 especially regarding agricultural initiative
