UNIT-I
1. a) State Ohm’s Law and also give the limitations of Ohm’s law 6

5. a) In the circuit shown below Fig. a voltage
v(t )  100sin(t  30o ) is applied. Determine the true power,
Reactive power and Power Factor when R=2, L=1H and

b) Determine the relationship between the phasor voltage and the


phasor current of the elements: R,L and C 6

7. a) Using the method of source transformation, reduce the circuit
of Fig. to a single s-domain current source in parallel with
a single impedance 12

b) Using a Laplace Transform obtain the expression for i1and i2
