Abstract:-
According to Lee, Park, Kim, and Li (2019), the purpose of the study is to examine the
effects of human resources practices on employee proactivity and group innovation. They
decided two-level to study Individual-level contains 4 elements role breadth self-efficacy, felt
responsibility for change, trust in management it is achieved individual proactivity. As for
group-level contains 3 elements change-oriented HRM, group creative process, group
innovation. In the methodology, they used 2 filed studies on Korea. In study 1 researchers
collected data from 285 group members working with 48 different group leaders which date
collected from members focuses on psychological states, whereas, data on HR practices,
group creative processes, and group innovation were gathered from group leaders. While in
study 2 researchers collected data from 213 group members working with 54 different group
leaders that study separated variables in time to infer the directional association between
change-oriented HRM systems and the outcome variables. Furthermore, we obtained
supervisor ratings of employee proactivity as well as employee rating group creative process
to avoid common sources effects. To analyze the data researchers used Hierarchical linear
modeling HLM to test hypotheses. The most important results reach by the researches are
considering psychological states as intermediaries between HRM systems and proactive
behaviors, implying that HRM systems can foster group innovation by influencing individual
proactivity, and proposing group creative processes as intermediaries between individual
proactivity and group innovation.
