SCENE 3

The main characters get trapped in the Museum

and all the creatures there wake up and ask for
help.

Greta: *voice only* closing the door in 3, 2, 1.

Have a great day!
*Students panic then gather on center stage
together with the creatures*
All: WAIT WHAT?!
*Silent while preparing for the next song Sweet
Dreams by Eurythmics*
Group 1: Sweet dreams are made of these. Who
am I to disagree? I traveled the world and the
seven seas. Everybody’s looking for something.
Group 2: Some of them want to use you; some of
them want to be used by you. Some of them want to
abuse you; some of them want to be abused by
you.
All: *Repeats chorus twice then end song,
everybody screams in shock* What is this?!
Creatures: Fear not. We are friends needing of
help.
Billy & Julie: So are we. Get us home!
*all clears a path to reveal Greta*
Greta: Well, well, well. I got you where I want
you. Ha ha ha.
*leaves dramatically*
Nina: How is this happening? Somebody please

The Thinker (Zachary): She with pureness of

heart, poisoned by the sight of Ruby.
Athena (Charity): A precious gem, stolen from
our hearts.
Creatures: BRING IT BACK! BRING IT BACK!
Venus de Milo (Karen): And I promise you your
freedom.
The Thinker: Many have tried, none of them
succeed. Praise is given to one who takes the lead.
*all acts confused and scared except for Mackie
who is yawning*
Mackie: This is boring. How about some singing?
Billy: Hold on Mackie, you know you can’t sing
right?
*Mackie pulls Alexi by the arm. And start
singing Heaven by: Bryan Adams*
Mackie: Oh thinking all our younger years. There
was only you and me we were young and wild and
free.
*Mackie and Alexi are dancing, and then their
flashback shows two people playing and they
are both happy*

FLASHBACK SCENE
There are two persons playing hopscotch then they
will leave the scene. Then enter two persons acting PAGE 6
like grade-schoolers that are going home like. The
first two persons will leave the scene, too.

Alexi: Now nothing can take you away from me.

We’ve been down that road before, but that’s over
now. You keep me coming back for more.
Both: Baby you’re all that I want, when you’re
lying here in my arms. I’m finding it hard to
believe we’re in heaven and love is all that I need
and I found it there in your arms. I’m finding it
hard to believe where in heaven.
Julie: *covers ears* Unbelievable! My ears are
bleeding from all the singing.
Nina: *rolls eyes* Annywayss, you were saying?
Venus, Diana and Athena: Gold! Gold! Gold!
Bright and yellow, hard and cold!
Thinker & Sparticus: No! No! Ruby! Ruby!
Bright and red, hardened beauty!
Sparticus (Rey): Find the stolen Scarlet Grandiose
to find the way back home for us and yours.

Julie: Aww poor guys. What happens to you if we

don’t find it in time?
Diana of Ephesus (Jasmine): Sadly, we and this PAGE 7

entire museum will be erased in history for no one

to remember.
Sparticus: Now hurry on your quest. Fight for your
freedom and ours!
*creatures vanish*
Billy: Tell me I’m dreaming. Take me to my
moomy!
Alexi: So what? We’re stuck in this museum full
of slive stones and we’re supposed to find a
necklace that holds their life so we can go home?
HEEELP
Greta: *Chants continuously*
Students: What is that? Make it stop!
*All leaves stage. Greta enters scene and
explores the stage holding up the necklace while
chanting as she is revealed to be the thief and
villain on to the audience then exits. Students
enter the stage and try to find the necklace
while the song “Thriller” by Michael Jackson
plays*
Alexi: It's close to midnight
And something evil's lurking in the dark
Under the moonlight
You see a sight that almost stops your heart
*Mackie and Alexi sing along until eventually
encountering a problem in their relationship* PAGE 8

Julie: Not yet. But don’t worry Athena, we got

this!
Nina: Okay but why isn’t anyone speaking out on
how this museum is alive?!

Abigail: If you didn’t already know, The Scarlet

Grandiose is a powerful Ruby that it gives of all its
power to the one that hold it. Now without it, these
sculptures are alive and unwell.
Thinker: Right. And whoever has it now could
unleash evil and erase us from history forever!
Greta: *Chants continuously*
Nina: There it is again. Argh!
Billy, Mackie and David: SHOW YOURSELF!
*Greta enters stage while still chanting and
holding up the necklace*
All: MISS GRETA?!!
Greta: No one will take this power from me. Not
even you!
*Shows necklaces directly at the students.
Students fall backwards because of the power.
Alexi falls backwards but Macki cathes her. She
quickly moves away in annoyance*
Julie: I thought Miss Greta was nice.
Billy: OH NO, NOT EVER! She’s bad!

back. Mackie snatches the necklaces out of her
hands and raises it*
Mackie: It ends now. No one should speak of this
ever again.
*Mackie places necklaces into the rightful
place*
Creatures: Don’t forget us!
*slowly vanishes off stage*
*final song Adventures by Grade-9 St. Benedict
plays*
All: Learning magical things with all of you by my
side. Thinking what would it bring to the
friendship that we started at. Side by side, fight as
one, to chase the freedom that we really

Go and chase the dream you wanted, bring your
friends to help you solve it.
Go and be with the friends you wanted, know your
limits if you really want it. Be haappyyy together
making memories with some neww persons. Let us
know what the meaning of friendship is because
our friends are there when we need them. So wake

*repeat chorus one more time as main characters
introduce their role names*

The main characters will explore the museum in
separate ways.

*Boys making some noise*

Greta (Khyling): Silence! This is a place of
history. My rules are quite simple: touch nothing,
break nothing and *wake* nothing.
Billy: wake what up?
Greta: museum closes at exactly 6 p.m. don't have
fun for too long.
*soft chuckle and immediately leaves*
Nina: Lets go girls except you Abigail
Billy: so Nina, listen-
Nina: ugh, as if!
*Billy sits down and in sorrow, Mackie and
David enters the scene by comforting him.Three
of them start singing Nothing’s gonna change
my love for you by Air Supply while the others
goes on separate directions and explores the
museum*
Mackie: With you I see forever oh so clearly, I
might have been in love before but it never felt this
strong.

Amphitrite instead?
All 3: oh..um..yeah sure, Abigail!

Mackie (Niko): *wakes up first and starts singing

while waking up the others.

Alexi (Audrei): You turned a bright spark into a
flam, my beats per minute never been the same.
Mackie: ‘Cause you’re my lady, I’m your fool. It
makes me so crazy when you act so cruel.
Julie (Julieanah): Come on baby, let’s not fight
We’ll go dancing, everything will be alright.
All students: Wake me up before you go-go, don’t
leave me hanging on like a yoyo. Wake me up before

Mackie:*flirting* hey, ladies!
Alexi:*coughs* manners? Tsk. Whatever, thios trip

Billy (Van): like a virgin~
Josh: aww!

THE STORY TELLS ABOUT A CLASS FIELD

TRIP INTO A MUSEUM CALLED
NEONYMPHUS (WHICH MEANS
“BENEDICT” IN GREEK), WHEREIN
TYPICAL LIVES OF TEENAGERS ARE
SHOWN. BUT AS A CONFLICT TO THE
STORY, THE STUDENTS THEN LATER GET
TRAPPED INSIDE, ONLY TO DISCOVER
CREATURES SUCH AS HISTORICAL GREEK
SCULPTURES IN THERE WERE ALIVE! NOW
THEY MUST FIND A STOLEN NECKLACE
CALL THE SCAELET GRANDIOSE TO
ATTAIN FREEDOM AND BRING THE
MUSEUM BACK TO NORMAL BEFORE IT
ERASES IN HISTORY FOREVER!
