SECTION 1 SCOPE AND SPECFICATION OF WORK

1.1 GENERAL DESCRIPTION


1.1.1.1 The Contractor shall supply and install AAHK Tide Gauge System at Fire
Boat Launch Facility at WSA (“Boat Facility”) in Western Support Area
(WSA) in the proposed Three Runway System (3RS).

1.1.1.2 This Particular Technical Specification (PTS) shall be read in conjunction


with the

(a) General Material and Workmanship Specification (GMWS)

(b) General Requirements for Electronic Contract issued by Electrical &


Mechanical Services Department – 2016 Edition and any corrigendum
issued thereafter (hereinafter referred to as ESG01)

(c) General Requirements for Electronic Purchases issued by Electrical &


Mechanical Services Department – 2016 Edition and any corrigendum
issued thereafter (hereinafter referred to as ESG03)

(d) Test and Commissioning Procedure for Burglar Alarm and Security
Installation in Government Buildings of the Hong Kong Special
Administrative Region – 2017 Edition and any corrigendum issued
thereafter

(e) Code of Practice for Fire Safety in Buildings issued by Buildings


Department – 2011 Edition and any corrigendum issued thereafter
1.1.1.3 The requirements contained in this PTS and Employer’s Drawings shall in
the event of any inconsistency or discrepancy prevail over the requirements
contained in the GMWS and General Specification stated in 1.1.1.2.

1.1.1.4 The Contractor shall utilize its knowledge and experience within the industry
to recommend a reliable, scalable, secure and future proof solution that shall
meet or exceed requirements specified in this Specification.

1.1.1.5 Unless specified otherwise, the Contractor shall be responsible for all Works
including, but not limited to, the system design, manufacture, supply and
delivery to Site, erection, installation, connecting up, various site testing and
commissioning (T&C), documentation, training, interface with the affected
systems, and provision of drawings and manuals, liaison with statutory
authorities for obtaining stamps, permits, approvals or the like, etc. of the
system all in accordance with the requirements of this Specification and the
Employer’s Drawings.

1.1.1.6 All reference design drawings referred to herein provided together with the
Specification and all designs and details indicated on the Employer’s
Drawings for elements of the Works are provided for reference only. The
Contractor is at liberty to adopt these reference designs or details or if the
Contractor chooses, however, the Project Manager does not warrant (and
shall not be deemed to have so warranted) the accuracy or completeness of
any such design and/or detail and disclaims any responsibility or liability to
the Contractor or to any other person, firm or company, for the completeness
of, or any error, omission, ambiguity or inaccuracy in, any such design and
detail.

1.1.1.7 For the Contractor decide to adopt the reference designs, the Contractor
shall review and verify, supplement and revise, if necessary, the reference
designs so that the final design shall suit the methods of construction and
comply with the requirements of the Contract.

1.1.1.8 The Contractor shall be responsible for sourcing technical information


including, but not limited to, Operation and Maintenance (O&M) manuals to
ascertain the details of the integration and interfacing requirements, system
operation procedure and method.

1.1.1.9 The Works in this Contract shall include all of the labours and materials
necessary to form a complete installation, and such tests, adjustments and
commissioning as are prescribed in this Specification, the GMWS and the
Employer’s Drawings and as many otherwise be required to give an effective
working installation to the satisfaction of the Project Manager.

1.1.1.10 The word ‘complete system’ shall mean not only the major items of plant and
equipment covered by this PTS, but all the components and other incidental
sundry items necessary for the complete execution of the Works and for the
proper operation of the installation, with their labour charges, whether or not
these components and items are mentioned in detail in the tender
documents issued in, connection with this Contract, unless expressly noted
otherwise.

1.1.1.11 The Contractor shall liaise and be cooperative with the Project Manager for
detail planning of the services in all areas.

1.1.1.12 The Contractor shall also be responsible for coordination of its works related
to all other contract works for all interface issues.

1.1.1.13 The Contractor shall refer to the Employer’s Drawings for the particular
requirements to be provided to the system, equipment locations and other
details.

1.1.1.14 The Contractor shall be responsible for ensuring all materials and processes
employed in the Works to be compatible with each other.
1.1.1.15 The construction or installation of the proprietary items shall be strictly in
accordance with the manufacturers’ printed instruction, which shall be
copied to the Project Manager for review without objection prior to
commencement of the Works.

1.1.1.16 All materials shall be selected and/or treated to prevent damage from any
possible combination of atmospheric deterioration, corrosion, wet rot, dry rot,
fungi, mould and any other deleterious effect including atmospheric pollution,
saline atmosphere and PH of the atmosphere.

1.1.1.17 All equipment and materials shall be designed and rated for continuous
operation.

1.1.1.18 Unless other specified, all equipment installed in the exposed outdoor
environment shall be provided with suitable weather-proof enclosure by the
Contractor with a minimum standard of IP65 rating.

1.1.1.19 All equipment indicated on the Employer’s Drawings are indicative to show
the design intend only. The Contractor shall coordinate with all respective
parties on site to confirm and finalize the exact locations of these devices.

1.1.1.20 The Contractor shall, without limitation to its obligations and liabilities,
establish effective communication links and maintain liaison and
coordination with the airport operation and government departments in
relation of the Works.

1.2 RELEVANT CODES AND STANDARDS

1.2.1.1 The applicable version of each of the listed standards is that current at the
date of the Letter of Acceptance. Latest version of the standards shall be
adopted due the implementation of this Contract.

1.2.1.2 The Contractor shall refer to GMWS for applicable codes and standards.

1.2.1.3 The standards listed below are referred to in this PTS and/or on the related
Employer’s Drawings:

(a) Hong Kong Government Regulations and Ordinances;

(b) Electricity Ordinance and Subsidiary Legislation made under the


Ordinance;

(c) Code of Practice for the Electricity (Wiring) Regulations, issued by


Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD);

(d) BS 7671, Requirements for Electrical Installation;

(e) Relevant Telecommunications Ordinance, Postmaster General


Requirements and the Telecommunication Ordinance and Telephone
Ordinance administered by the Telecommunications Authority;

(f) Code of Practice for Access facilities of Buildings for the Provision of
Telecommunications and Broadcasting Services issued by office of the
Office of the Communications Authority;

(g) International Organization for Standardization (ISO);


(h) Underwriters’ Laboratories, Inc. (UL) Standard – Design and
Installation of Fire Protection System and Compartmentation Measures;

(i) Handbooks and codes of National Fire Protection Association (NFPA);

(j) British Standards (BS) 5839, 749 Part 7;

(k) European Standards (EN) 50200 PH120;

(l) International Electro-technical Committee (IEC); and

(m) The latest edition of the IET Wiring Regulations.

1.3 GENERAL WORKS

1.3.1.1 The Contractor shall be responsible for design, supply, delivery, installation,
setting up modification, integration, configuration, testing and commissioning
all Tide Gauge Systems works as hereunder described, indicated on the
Employer's Drawings, and defined in the PTS, and any work not specifically
mentioned but required to complete the Works.

1.3.1.2 The Contractor shall carry out detailed site surveys and identify areas for
information necessary to complete the design and installation of the
installations. The Contractor shall identify these areas in advance and
undertake dimensioned surveys showing all details of services and their
relationship to the structure and other physical elements of the existing
structures, utilities, and services. These details shall be sufficient to enable
the design and construction with complete confidence.

1.3.1.3 The Contractor shall supply and install cable facilities and fixings such as the
flexible conduits, cable brackets, trunkings and/or trays, conduits and
mounting brackets to implement the system facilities. The Contractor shall
conduct site surveys and other means to identify whether any equipment,
device, cable, cable containment and/or accessories should be deployed.

1.3.1.4 If any system migration and diversion is required, the Contractor shall liaise
with the Project Manager for the related information and coordinate with
other relevant parties to ensure a smooth changeover, migration and
diversion without service interruption. The Contractor shall submit a detailed
changeover plan with necessary fall-back and contingency plans for review
without objection by the Project Manager. The content of the plan shall
contain, but not limited to, the following:

(a) Procedure and sequence of works;

(b) Possible causes of failure;

(c) Mitigation(s) proposal of possible failure;

(d) Activation of contingency arrangement; and

(e) Recovery plan.

1.3.1.5 The Contractor is required to take up any necessary coordination role with
the suppliers and/or maintenance personnel of the system.

1.3.1.6 Unless specified, the Contractor shall supply and install all secondary cable
containments as required for the connection to the primary containments
(supplied and installed by the Contractor under Electrical Scope of Works)
to the final field equipment devices. This shall include, amongst of, cable
trunks, cable trays, cable ladders, concealed conduits, back boxes,
termination boxes, flexible conduits, etc. All such last-run connections in
conduits shall be concealed unless otherwise specified.

1.3.1.7 The Contractor shall obtain sufficient information from the supplier of the
AAHK Tide Gauge Systems and coordinate with him/her where necessary
to ensure a smooth installation.

1.3.1.8 The Contractor shall submit complete performance test plans and test
schedules for review without objection by the Project Manager before T&C.

1.3.1.9 As a reference, the Contractor shall refer to the Employer’s Drawings for the
quantities and locations of AAHK Tide Gauge Systems devices to be
provided under this Contract.

1.3.1.10 Alternative equipment proposed by the Contractor shall subject to review


without objection by the Project Manager.

1.3.1.11 The Contractor shall design, develop, construct, programme, configure,
engineer, supply, deliver, install, set up, test and commission the system
works as hereunder described and defined by the Specifications, PTS,
GMWS and Employer’s Drawings, and any work not specifically mentioned
but required to complete the Works.

1.3.1.12 The Contractor shall carry out the Works at the Boat Facility including, but
not limited to, the following:

(a) To install the following hardware and software will all necessary
accessories of AAHK Tide Gauge system:

i. Sensor with waterproof connectors and sounding tubes;

ii. SDI-12 / RS232 I/O cables;

iii. Module panel with data logger;

iv. LED Display

v. Installation kit;

vi. Supportive and protective frames;

vii. PVC pipes;

viii. To supply and install all necessary cable containment, mounting


brackets and associated accessories to complete the installation.

(b) All the dedicated cables described in above shall be run via the
particular cable containment.

(c) To supply and install secondary cable containment from the main cable
containment (provided under the Electrical scope of Works) to the final
termination frames, equipment in rack and/or field equipment locations,
e.g. outlet, etc., is required.
(d) To supply and install labelling and numbering marker of all laid cables,
installed hardware, e.g. outlets, etc., patching ports and termination
frames in accordance with the equipment identification scheme is
required. Separation between cable labels and marks shall referred to
GMWS and be reviewed with no objection by the Project Manager.

(e) To undertake testing and commissioning of all system components.

1.3.1.13 The Contractor shall be obliged to source all relevant as-constructed


information including, but not limited to, cable containment, architectural
layouts and systems schematics to be interfaced with, and verify them
against site survey works to ensure the integrity of the information.

1.3.1.14 The Contractor shall prepare and submit Work Permit (WP) application
documents to the Project Manager for review without objection and
processing prior to commencement of site works.

1.3.1.15 The Contractor shall submit the Method Statement of the Works to detail all
installation and/or system modification activities to the Project Manager for
review without objection and obtain necessary WPs prior to the
commencement of any work.

1.3.1.16 The Contractor shall prepare and submit System Change Request (SCR)
application documents to the Project Manager for review without objection
and processing for any installation work interfaced with the existing system
prior to any work commencement.

1.3.1.17 As soon as a completion of any system or any section of installation, the


Contractor shall clean all working spaces, remove all debris from the site and
keep the site and access ways thereto in a tidy and finished manner.

1.4 CONTRACTOR’S SUBMISSION

1.4.1.1 The Contractor shall supply and install the as-built drawings to the Project
Manager for review without objection. These shall include, but not limited to,
the following:

(f) Schematics for AAHK Tide Gauge System;

1.4.1.2 The Contractor shall provide documentation to the Project Manager for
review without objection. These shall include, but not limited to, the following:
(a) Site survey reports;

(b) Materials technical cut-sheet

(c) Method statements;

(d) System design documents;

(e) System acceptance test (SAT) plans and procedures;

(f) SAT reports;

(g) O&M manuals;

(h) As-built drawings.

SECTION 2 SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

2.1 AAHK TIDE GAUGE SYSTEM

2.1.1.1 The system shall be used to measure liquid level. The sensor with waterproof
connector shall initial a series of electrical pulses to the acoustic transducer
element, time and store the calibration return echo, and time and store the
liquid level return echo. The microprocessor in the sensor shall be able to
perform calculation and engineering conversions to determine the water
level and store the data awaiting a data request from the data logger.

2.1.1.2 The data logger shall be supplied with a laptop PC for user to check and
export logger configuration files.

2.1.1.3 The sounding tube shall be provided to protect the acoustic pulse from
environmental effects.

2.1.1.4 The system shall display current tide level through the LED display in Boat
Facility for real time display.

2.1.1.5 The system shall be capable to connect and have data exchange with the
third party system. The Contractor shall coordinate the interface with other
parties for the connection of system and transmit data to the third party
system.

SECTION 3 HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS

3.1 AAHK TIDE GAUGE SYSTEM


3.1.1.1 Liquid Level Sensor
(a) The sensor shall be digital with internal microcomputer which shall be
core equipment to provide scheduled level measurement. The sensor
with electronics shall be enclosed and sealed in a shock resistant
PVC housing.
(b) The sensor shall be reliable and without moving parts such as gears,
bearings, or floats to wear out.
(c) The sensor shall be equipped with self-calibrated measurement
correction for ambient temperature, pressure and gas density within
the calibrated range(s). The yields accuracy shall be better than
±3mm.
(d) RS-232 and/or SDI-12 interfaces shall be provided to make it
compatible with data logger/controller/module panel.
(e) Waterproof cable connector shall be provided.
(f) The sensor shall fulfill with the following requirement as minimum:

Dynamic Range: >10 meters


Rate of Change: ±3 m/second
Resolution: 1 mm
Sample Rate: 1.0 /second over 2 to
255 samples
Temperature Drift: <1 ppm / °C

3.1.1.2 Sounding Tubes


The functions of the sounding tubes shall be as follows:
(a) Return echo from a known distance shall be provided.
(b) The sounding tube shall be provided to protect the acoustic pulse
from environmental effects.
(c) Measure of antifouling shall be provided to keep the end of the tube
free of marine growth and algae.

3.1.1.3 LED Display


(a) The LED display shall employ a full 128 ASCII character set.
(b) The LED display shall fulfil with the following requirement as minimum:

Communication ports: RS-232, RS-485

3.1.1.4 Module Panel
(a) The module panel shall provide with data logger to transmit data
string to LED display.
(b) The data logger shall be with 32-bit central processing unit (CPU), 24-
bit A/D conversion (ADC), auto calibration of the ADC and
measurement electronics coupled with advanced data quality control
and validation software all ensure the accuracy of data measurement.
(c) The data logger shall fulfil with the following requirement as minimum:

Memory: 4MB RAM and 4 MB program flash


Data Logging Memory: 3.3MB internal flash memory with
2GB compact flash memory card
Serial Communication: Plug-in slots for RS232, RS485,
SDI-12 communications
Ethernet Communication: Min. two plug-in slots for
IEEE802.3 10/100/1000BASE-T
TCP/IP communications

(d) The data logger shall be supplied with a port that provides connection
for a laptop PC. It shall be general purpose PC type which is capable
to apply for maintenance and check logger config files. These are
equipped as follows as minimum:  
 Separate RS232 serial port or USB port for maintenance and
operation  
 DVD writer  
 100/1000M Ethernet ports  
 Installed configuration software for maintenance and
operation of the data logger 
 Microsoft Windows 10 OS or later version or the latest
available industry 

3.1.1.5 Single-Mode Optical Fibre Cable


(a) The single-mode optical fibre cables to be used in the backbone shall
be the 9/125/250 um indoor riser type cable as specified in TIA/EIA-
568-C.

(b) The single-mode optical fibre cables with used in outdoor area shall
be outdoor type with amour barrier and fulfil the requirement in
GWMS.

3.1.1.6 Category 5E Multi-pair UTP Cable

All Category 5E UTP cables installed shall comply with the Electronics
Industry Association / Telecommunications Industry Association (EIA/TIA)
— 568-C Commercial Building Telecommunications Cabling Standard and
the following requirements:

(a) ANSI/TIA/EIA category: Category 5E;

(b) Cable sizes: 25 pairs minimum; 50 pairs typical;

(c) Outer sheath: PVC in areas; and

(d) Description: Internal telecommunications and data cable.


3.1.1.7 Fibre Media Converter
(a) Fibre media converters shall be used to transport electrical data
signal between Network Switches and the field equipment over fibre
optical cables for transmission distance excess 90m.
(b) The converters shall transit and receive data signal over fibre optic
cable. The media converter shall operate 1310nm over single mode
fibre optic cable.
(c) Fibre media converters shall support IEEE 802.3, 100Base-FX
protocols. No manual adjustment shall be required except during
initial installation.
(d) The converters shall support full duplex and half duplex transmission
data rates.
(e) Optical connectors shall be of LC type. Data connectors shall be RJ45.

SECTION 4 SYSTEM PERFORMANCE

4.1 GENERAL DESCRIPTION


4.1.1 AAHK AND LOCAL VDC System

4.1.1.1 The cabling shall be able to support analogue and digital voice applications,
data, local area networks and video on a common cabling platform.
4.1.1.2 The communication protocols and standards supported by the System shall
include, but not limited to, Data Communications EIA-232D, RS-422, RS-
423, IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3z (1 Gigabit Ethernet), 10BASE-FL, 100BASE-
FX, 1000BASE-SX, 1000BASE-LX, 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, 100BASE-
T2, 100BASE-T4, 1000BASE-T, IEEE 802.3ae (10Gbps), voice
applications, ISDN, analogue video, digital video, video conferencing and
extra low voltage signals.
4.1.1.3 All cable segments shall not be installed with more than one cable joint.

4.2 RELIABILITY DESIGN CRITERIA


4.2.1.1 The system shall be designed for a service life of fifteen (15) years operating
on a duty cycle of 24 hours per day. The equipment shall have a maximum
mean-time-to-restore (MTTR) of 60 minutes.
4.2.1.2 All equipment comprising the total system shall be designed for a service life
of 15 years operating on a duty cycle of 24 hours per day.
4.2.1.3 The system shall be designed in such a way the maintenance and repair is
straight forward for technicians who have completed the Contractor’s training
course.
4.2.1.4 All equipment with a normal/standby facility shall be designed if one element
fails and the other takes over control without loss of data then the failed
equipment might be isolated and repaired in situ without affecting the
operation of the system.

4.3 SYSTEM AVAILABILITY


4.3.1.1 The availability of any system shall be 99.95%.
4.3.1.2 For the purposes of measuring system availability, the following particular
failures shall constitute the total system as being out of service:
(a) System
Any and all time during which the headend processors fail to transmit
valid packets and/or data

SECTION 5 TESTING AND COMMISSIONING

5.1 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

5.1.1.1 The AAHK Tide Gauge System Works shall be inspected, tested and
commissioned to confirm the performance of the all AAHK Tide Gauge
System complied with the requirements of the Contract.

5.1.1.2 The Contractor shall carry out the full functional and operational inspections,
testes and commissioning at any stage with new equipment commissioning
and/or existing equipment decommissioning to confirm the performance of
the systems delivered.

5.1.1.3 The inspections, testing and commissioning shall, in particular but not limited
to, be planned, carried out and documented in accordance with:

(a) The GMWS.

(b) The construction quality plans and inspection and test plans prepared
by the Contractor in accordance with the relevant ISO standard and
reviewed without objection by the Project Manager.

(c) The PTS.

(d) General Requirements for Electronic Contract issued by Electrical &


Mechanical Services Department – 2016 Edition and any corrigendum
issued thereafter (hereinafter referred to as ESG01)

(e) General Requirements for Electronic Purchases issued by Electrical &


Mechanical Services Department – 2016 Edition and any corrigendum
issued thereafter (hereinafter referred to as ESG03)

(f) Test and Commissioning Procedure for Burglar Alarm and Security
Installation in Government Buildings of the Hong Kong Special
Administrative Region – 2017 Edition and any corrigendum issued
thereafter

(g) Code of Practice for Fire Safety in Buildings issued by Buildings


Department – 2011 Edition and any corrigendum issued thereafter

5.1.1.4 The Contractor shall assist other parties as necessary for the testing and
commissioning and troubleshooting of the systems.

5.1.1.5 The installation shall be thoroughly tested by the Contractor to ensure every
single point and/or item of system being controlled and/or monitored
correctly as per the contract requirement.

5.1.1.6 The Contractor shall note that no part of the system shall be connected to
the Tide Gauge System in operation without successfully completed the
T&C, system acceptance test (SAT) and obtained prior consent from the
Project Manager.

5.1.1.7 The Contractor and the Enabling Contractor shall carry out, but not limited
to, the following test procedures:

(a) System self-test and pre-test prior to any formal T&C and SAT.

(b) Independent test prior to any interface test, e.g. FS system, etc.

(c) Comprehensive SAT and system handover for all Tide Gauge systems
with Project Manager and/or Project Manager’s representatives.

5.2 TEST ADMINISTRATION

5.2.1.1 The Contractor shall ensure adequate test equipment and instrumentation
to be provided for testing and commissioning of the entire system.

5.2.1.2 All test equipment and devices shall be accompanied with valid calibration
certificates issued by authorized laboratory/organization(s), the validity
period of the certificates shall covered the entire testing and commissioning
period and under no circumstances be invalided before the completion of
testing and commissioning of the whole installations.

5.2.1.3 To ensure accurate measurements, all test leads shall be kept to a minimum
standard length. Test plug terminations shall be durable and strictly
controlled for maintaining cable twists and bending radii during testing.

5.2.1.4 All tests shall be carried out by the authorized personnel.

5.2.1.5 For cable faults which cannot be rectified by re-termination, the entire cable
being tested shall be pulled out and replaced by a complete new cable run.
Jointed cables shall not be accepted.

5.2.1.6 All test reports shall be signed and dated for review without objection by the
Project Manager. The test results shall be submitted in Excel spreadsheet
format, in hardcopy and electronically on DVD-ROM and USB memory stick.

SECTION 6 MAINTENANCE AND TRAINING

6.1 GENERAL

6.1.1.1 The Contractor shall develop and submit a full set of testing and
commissioning plans and specifications comprising test schedules, test
procedures and test forms for each ELV component as the standard testing
document to the Project Manager for review without objection at least three
months prior to the actual commencement of the testing and commissioning
process.

The Contractor shall provide trainings for all AAHK Tide Gauge System in all
operations and all maintenance aspects of the equipment items, such that
the trained personnel are able to competently operate and maintain the
equipment items in every respect.

6.1.1.2 During the Maintenance Period, the contractor shall comply with the
Electricity Ordinance and carry out periodic inspections and tests of the
electrical installation. Corresponding test certificates and test reports shall
be issued accordingly.

6.2 OVERALL TRAINING REQUIREMENTS


6.2.1 GENERAL

6.2.1.1 The classroom trainings shall be conducted at the Employer’s premises,


unless otherwise reviewed without objection by the Project Manager.

6.2.1.2 All training courses provided by the Contractor shall be conducted by fully
qualified training personnel.

6.2.1.3 The Contractor shall submit to the Project Manager for review without
objection a training plan as defined later in this section for each of the training
courses proposed. The training plan shall include the proposed venue and
the names and curricula vitae of the proposed instructors. The training plan
shall be submitted at least six (6) months prior to the completion of the
respective AAHK Tide Gauge Systems installation and testing and
commissioning works.

6.2.1.4 All training course documentation and data shall be in the English language,
but some training may be required to be carried out in Cantonese as directed
from time-to-time by the Project Manager.

6.2.1.5 To accommodate the requirement for training courses to be presented in


Cantonese the Contractor shall submit the names and curricula vitae of
instructors proposed to meet this requirement along with other training
details as required in this section of the Particular Technical Specification.

6.2.1.6 The Project Manager shall have the right to record all training courses by
use of audio and/or video recording equipment. All recorded materials shall
be used by the Project Manager for other training courses or other purposes
if applicable.

6.2.2 TRAINING DOCUMENTATION AND MATERIALS

6.2.2.1 The Contractor shall provide training documentation and materials in the
English language, and shall, as a minimum, contain:
(a) Statements of each course's objectives which trainees must achieve
in order to graduate from the course;

(b) A syllabus of training for each course;

(c) Two sets of training documentation which includes lecturers guides,


audio visual material, student notes, worksheets, progress tests and
examinations;

(d) Software and firmware flow charts (where applicable); and

(e) Flow charts for fault finding and trouble shooting purposes.

6.2.2.2 The Contractor shall provide one hard copy of the training documentation for
each of the Employer's trainees plus five (5) supplementary hard copies and
one electronic copy, as a minimum.

6.2.2.3 Training documentation shall be submitted to the Project Manager for review
without objection at least three (3) months prior to the scheduled beginning
of training courses.

6.2.2.4 Training aids necessary to run future similar training courses shall be
provided by the Contractor.

6.2.2.5 A list of the proposed aids for the training plan shall be submitted by the
Contractor for review without objection by the Project Manager.

SECTION 7 QUANTITIES OF MAJOR EQUIPMENT

7.1 GENERAL DESCRIPTION


7.1.1.1 The Contractor shall install the following major Tide Gauge components in

7.1.1.2 All other licenses required for complete and proper functioning of the Tide
Gauge system shall be provided.
7.1.1.3 The Contractor shall note that the equipment of Tide Gauge System shown
on the Employer's Drawings are for indicative purpose only. The Contractor
shall coordinate with the Project Manager for the final locations of the
equipment so they shall be able to integrate with the furniture design and
interior fit-out to the satisfaction of the Project Manager.
