    Danilo Castillones Sillada is a Filipino visual artist, writer and cultural critic born in 1963. He received an award for literary and visual arts in 2003 from the former Philippines president. Sillada works in painting, installation art, performance art, literature, philosophy, music and critical theory. One of his controversial artworks from 2005 was titled "Menstrual Period in Political History." In 2003, he pioneered "Nail Art and Hydro-Kinetic Sculpture."      Danilo Castillones Sillada, was born April 27, 1963, is a visual Filipino Artist,writer and a cultural critic
    from Mindanao.
     He was a recipient of 2003 “ Pasidungog Centennial Awards” for Literary and Visual arts, a centennial
    event that was attended by the former president of the Philippines Gloria Macapagal- Arroyo in his
    hometown province in Davao Oriental.
     Sillada was known for Painting, Installation art, Performance Art, literature, philosophy, music and
    critical theory
     In 2005, Sillada was controversial for his artwork titled Menstrual Period in Political History

    Kay yang harana ng kanak gugma


    Sang kanmo mga damgo mobuwa,
    Matam-is kung mga sonata
    Mohangkop sang kanmo pagmata…

    Mosawop man mosubang yang buwan


    Yang canta ko kanmo way utlanan,
    Ma-temprano man ngini madoūm
    Ikaw perme yang kanak ihandum…
