2. Authority and Plan:
The estimate has been prepared for Revised technical sanction of the project due to the
extention of existing Hume pipe culvert in 150mm dia of canal but in technical sanction estimate
Construction of H.P. culvert of 1000mm dia has been proposed at place of existing extention point. The
authority of Canal has been not issued NOC for construction of 1000mm dia HP culvert. The
Administrative Approval for this project has been granted for Rs. 1443.50 lakh vide department letter
no. 8236 (S) dated 15.09.2017.
3. Introduction:
The revised estimate has been framed for the Construction/Improvement cum output &
performance based road contract work of Gangoli-Gobardhan Road from 0.00 km to 6.85 km to
include extention of existing 150mm dia HP culvert, RCC drain, Hard shouldering both side of crust
and Road signage for protection vide schedule item no 5.6.1 of WRD and other items of RCD
respectively.
Provision of extra Road Signage, Road Furniture and drain has also been done in this revised
estimate in compliance with Road Safety and Hard shouldering both side of crust has been
proposed due to this road alignment which is laying on canal embankment and both sides of road
irrigated canal is situated. In that situation, the shoulder of road has been compacted and hard for
protection of crust and erosion of soil. Hence in this situation, the hard shouldering of Road in
both sides has been done from GSB grade II.
