    Literature Review

    Synthesis and characterization of novel electrode materials have been receiving significant attention
    over the past decade. Spectroscopic techniques, image methods and electrolyte analysis methods
    are widely employed in ex situ and/or in situ electrochemical studies. In this review, each student
    may pick up one topic listed below or choose a topic related to your research project:

    1 Electrochemical FTIR spectroscopy


    2 Electrochemical scanning tunneling microscopy (STM)
    3 Atomic force microscopy (AFM)
    4 X-Ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS)
    5. X-ray diffraction (XRD)
    6 Transmitting electron microscopy (TEM), high-resolution TEM and STEM
    7 Chemical vapor deposition
    8. Electrochemical deposition
    9. Electrochemical biosensor
    10. Fabrication of nanostructured catalysts
    11. Wastewater treatment
    12. Solar energy
    13 UV-Visible spectroscopy
    14 Stripping voltammetry
    15 Photoelectrochemistry
    16 Hydrogen storage
    17 Scanning electrochemical microscopy

    The length of this technical review report should be no more than 10 pages with single space. Here
    is a suggested format:
