• The Tampa Hillsborough EDC unveiled the Locational Assessment and Strategic Plan for Economic Growth, a new strategic job growth plan for Hillsborough
County. The Assessment is the culmination of a seven-month effort to evaluate the competiveness of Hillsborough County and its municipalities in

• The Tampa Port Authority (TPA) announced that Zim American Integrated Shipping expanded its South America Express (SAX) service, which will provide
service from the Port of Tampa to ports in Brazil and Venezuela. (Tampa Port Authority, 11-05-10)
• Revonergy Inc., a renewable energy company headquartered in London, said it plans to open an office in Tampa early next year. The company chose Tampa
for its cost-friendliness, airport access and promise as a recruiting ground for clean technology professionals. (Tampa Bay Business Journal, 11-05-10)
• Innovative Vacuum Solutions (IVS), a New Hampshire-based company that specializes in high vacuum pump technology, will expand to Tampa next month,
opening a service center that will create 10 new jobs. (Tampa Hillsborough EDC, 11-08-10)
• SRA International, Inc. (NYSE: SRX), a leading provider of technology and strategic consulting services to government organizations and commercial clients,
announced the opening of a new regional office in Tampa, FL. The company will create between 60 to 80 high paying jobs over the next year.
