Western Leyte College (WLC) is breaking into the city with a four-storey school building project
that is targeted for completion by 2020.

In an interview with the school's president on Friday (Oct 4), Mr. Emmanuel A. Fiel said the
estimated Php30 million four-storey building was envisioned to accommodate both high school
and college students equipped with 16 classrooms and improved laboratories for chemical
biology and physics.

In a random interview with a WLC student, he shared, “Students of WLC have something to
look forward to in the coming months with the new building to rise to inspire us in our pursuit
for learning and development.”

The building will also feature a roof deck and speed elevators that will service the building’s
high and low zones, intended to provide convenience to the students and employees.

"This is just the phase 1 of our project. Hopefully after this building is done we will start with the
second building in the same campus." Fiel added.
