AUDITOR’S REPORT
We have audited the attached Balance Sheet of DAYANAND VEDIC MISSION
EDUCATIONAL AND CHARITABLE TRUST, DISTT:- DHANBAD (JHARKHAND)
as at 31st March 2016 and also the Income & Expenditure Account and Receipt &
Payments Accounts for the Year ended on that date annexed thereto. These financial
statements are the responsibility of the Society’s Management. Our responsibility is
to express an opinion on these financial statements based on our audit.

Our audit includes examining the books of accounts, vouchers and other
records supporting the amounts and disclosures in the financial statements. We
report as follows.

i. We have verified Donation & Subscription, Cash & Bank balances by the
production of certificate by the Management.

ii. Fixed assets have been physically verified by the Management. Depreciation
to the fixed assets has been provided for.

iii. We have obtained all the information and explanations, which to the best of
our knowledge and belief, was necessary for the purpose of our audit.

iv. In our opinion, proper books of accounts as required, subject to cash basis of
accounting have been kept by the Society so far as appears from our
examination of those books.

v. The Balance sheet and income & Expenditure Account are in agreement with
the books of accounts.

vi. In our opinion and to the best of our information and according to the
explanations given to us the said accounts give a true and fair view:

a. In case of Balance Sheet of the state of affairs as at 31.03.2016 and


b. In the case of Income & Expenditure Account of the Excess of Income over
Expenditure for the Year ended on that date.

ACTIVITIES & PROGRAMMES


VOCATIONAL TRAINING PROGRAMME
Managing committee of the society decided to start vocational training
programme for self employment. That training programme is aims to equip
rural youth in the age group 18-35 years with the skills and technology
required for self employment. Society allowed relaxation of age certain special
conditions, especially in the case of carpet weavers, lepers, the disabled,
pensioners and widows. For develop youth entrepreneurship society shoos
Home based industries like handicrafts, Beedi Industry, Agarbatti Making,
Tailoring and Garment, under these programmes society teach and training of
rural youth for self employment during this year under this programme 56
person benefited and able to self reliance and our society have aims to
working increase more than hundred people benefits next year and develop
their infrastructure.
HEALTH & FAMILY WELFARE PROGRAMME
The family welfare programme started by the society with the objective of
reducing the birth rate to the extent necessary to stabilize the population at a
level consistent with the requirements of the National Economy.
Society organized family welfare programme in many places of Jharkhand
State. The Literacy rate of the states are very low and the need of aware of the
people fact that a small family is a healthy one. The effectively couple
protected.
About this programme main view of the society is to provide family planning
services within the broader context of maternal and child health care. It
disseminates information and education to enable couples to make voluntary
informed choices regarding size of the family and spacing through
contraception.
CULTURAL PROGRAMME
A drama product by our organization on 15 th August, on the occasion of
independence day on this day our society product the drama Gandhi through
this drama we show for unity and national integration near about 750 people
in viewer side.
The organization often conducts cultural programmes for the healthy
entertainment of the people the village people are deprived of this facility, as
there are no cinema houses, common room, theatres playground planetarium,
museum etc available in the rural areas in order to facilitate the people with
health entrainment the organization arranges drama, dance concerts, lectures
and video film shows in Dhanbad.
LITERACY PROGRAMME
Literacy and population size essentially are the basic ingredients for
development economic development is closely associated with poverty
reduction. Human development is the end economic growth, literacy and
education have a direct role in human development and are instrumental in
facilitating other achievements.
The significant effects of primary education on reduction in poverty and
improvement in income dissolution improvement in health and nutritional
status of the population growth and positive association with adoption of
family planning methods and its positive relationship with general social
political and economic development and overall quality of life are well
recognized. Women have to be integrated in the mainstream society as by the
large in India they do not enjoy equal status with men and still have to fight
their way through it they want to achieve social or economic advancement.
For these causes or society working for the education for all men, women girls
and boys children. Society wants to sure primary education for them.
AIDS AWARENESS PROGRAMME
Amount the methods adopted female sterilization predominates as 21.4
percent of the eligible women and unmet need is for spacing birth and the
remains for limiting the children. A majority of the male respondents
indicated progresses for female method. They did not prefer the male
methods mainly because of the fear of weakness due to male method, fear of
method failure and fear of operation it was decided to prepare a wide AIDs
scheme for the coverage of family planning programme by the society. Local
doctors and Para medical workers have extended their useful cooperation in
diffusion of the requisite knowledge about family planes methods to the
eligible couples with intrusive comparing in the district.
ENVIRONMENT AWARENESS PROGRAMME
It has become a challenge for us to get familiar with our environment issues
and contribute collectively for improving our quality of life. This can only be
possible through imparting both formal and informal environment education
to each of us young and old and transcending classes of people.
Our society working for community involvement, we know that success of
project involvement of community is most important. To protect environment
our society starting intervention programmes in many panchayats of project
area. For involvement and interact of community our society working social
and cultural activities, wall writing banners and distributions of
advertisement goods.
TRIBAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME:
There are certain tribal communities who are having low level of literacy.
Declining or stagnant population and pre-agricultual levfel of technology and
economically backward. 75 such groups in 15 States/UTs have been identified
and have been categorized as Primitive Tribal Groups (PTGs). State/UT wise
list of PTGs is at Annexure I each of these groups is small in number
differentially developed with respect to one another, of remote habitat with
poor administrative and infrastructure back up. Therefore, they are in need of
priority to be accorded for their protection and development.
SANITATION PROGRAMME
Our organization has been organized total Sanitation Programme at
Biharsharif Block of Nalanda District through P.H.E.D. There were many
B.P.L. Families have get benefitted with this programme.
RURAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME
In the present situation we have been able to create everybody in rural areas
but so far as their services delivery is concerned, majority of them are not up
to the mark. There is a need to revitalize and strengthen the already existing
bodies in rural areas rather than putting a thrust on creating more and more
institutions. Creating better manpower and utilizing the local programme can
do it. The real success of a rural development programme lies in achieving
targets in both institutional as well as behavioral aspects. Against this
conditions, the society worked in rural development as social worker and
tried to bring forth some suggesting that if considered, could possible
improve the output of a rural development programme.
AGRICULTURE AND HORTICULTURE DEVELOPMENT
We organized programme on agriculture and horticulture issue in which 75
farmers participated. The resource persons delivered lectures and distributed
handbills, Posters leaflets, booklets etc. This programme was organized at
Dhanbad district respectively.
WELFARE PROGRAMME FOR HANDCAPPED
The project management committee of society has been reported various cases
related to handicapped in the district. The matter was discussed in the
managing committee meeting. The matter was resolved positively to open
and run to provide facilities to handicapped. In several schemes including
health, education was taken up among the handicapped classes of people and
we helped and we helped them avail of government aids etc in this direction.

We have examined the Balance Sheet of DAYANAND VEDIC MISSION


EDUCATIONAL AND CHARITABLE TRUST, P.O.+DIST.-DHANBAD
(JHARKHAND), as on 31st March 2017 and the Income & Expenditure
Account for the year ended on that date which is in agreement with the Books
of Account maintained by the said institution as produced before us.

We have obtained all the information and explanation, which to the best of
our knowledge and belief were necessary for the purpose of the audit. In our
opinion, proper books of account have been kept by the head office of the
above named institution, so far as appears from our examination of the books
and proper returns adequate for the purpose of audit have been received,
subject to the comments given below:

youth in the age group 18-35 years with the skills and technology required for
self employment. Society allowed relaxation of age certain special conditions,
especially in the case of carpet weavers, lepers, the disabled, pensioners and
widows. For develop youth entrepreneurship society shoos Home based
industries like handicrafts, Beedi Industry, Agarbatti Making, Tailoring and
Garment, under these programmes society teach and training of rural youth for
self employment during this year under this programme 56 person benefited and
able to self reliance and our society have aims to working increase more than
hundred people benefits next year and develop their infrastructure.
ENVIRONMENT AWARENESS PROGRAMME
It has become a challenge for us to get familiar with our environment issues and
contribute collectively for improving our quality of life. This can only be possible
through imparting both formal and informal environment education to each of
us young and old and transcending classes of people.
Our society working for community involvement, we know that success of
project involvement of community is most important. To protect environment
our society starting intervention programmes in many panchayats of project area.
For involvement and interact of community our society working social and
cultural activities, wall writing banners and distributions of advertisement
goods.
WELFARE PROGRAMME FOR SC/ST
The project management committee of SOCIETY has been reported various cases
related to SC/ST in the districts. The matter was discussed in the managing
committee meeting. In several schemes including health, education was taken up
among the SC/ST classes of people and we helped and we helped them avail of
government aids etc. in this direction.
HEALTH & FAMILY WELFARE PROGRAMME
The family welfare programme started by the society with the objective of
reducing the birth rate to the extent necessary to stabilize the population at a
level consistent with the requirements of the National Economy.
Society organized family welfare programme in many places of Jharkhand State.
The Literacy rate of the states are very low and the need of aware of the people
fact that a small family is a healthy one. The effectively couple protected.
About this programme main view of the society is to provide family planning
services within the broader context of maternal and child health care. It
disseminates information and education to enable couples to make voluntary
informed choices regarding size of the family and spacing through contraception.
LITERACY PROGRAMME
The general schooling is provided for all persons especially for illiterate, The
society opened an education centre for teaching illiterate persons, six students
were thought with supply of learning materials. It was noted that the parents
were very happy by the work of the organization. An awareness programme was
also organized for illiterate.
Parents so that they could be motivated to take participation in this programme
in near future also. Apart from the programmes organized under literacy for
specific person. A night school was also opened for landless people who were
illiterate. It is running very successfully, the participants were distributed study
materials and make them aware about the importance of education.
RURAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME
In the present situation we have been able to create everybody in rural areas but
so far as their services delivery is concerned, majority of them are not up to the
mark. There is a need to revitalize and strengthen the already existing bodies in
rural areas rather than putting a thrust on creating more and more institutions.
Creating better manpower and utilizing the local programme can do it. The real
success of a rural development programme lies in achieving targets in both
institutional as well as behavioral aspects. Against this conditions, the society
worked in rural development as social worker and tried to bring forth some
suggesting that if considered, could possible improve the output of a rural
development programme.
AGRICULTURE AND HORTICULTURE DEVELOPMENT
We organized programme on agriculture and horticulture issue in which 75
farmers participated. The resource persons delivered lectures and distributed
handbills, Posters leaflets, booklets etc. This programme was organized at
Dhanbad district respectively.
AIDS AWARENESS PROGRAMME
Amount the methods adopted female sterilization predominates as 21.4 percent
of the eligible women and unmet need is for spacing birth and the remains for
limiting the children. A majority of the male respondents indicated progresses for
female method. They did not prefer the male methods mainly because of the fear
of weakness due to male method, fear of method failure and fear of operation it
was decided to prepare a wide AIDs scheme for the coverage of family planning
programme by the society. Local doctors and Para medical workers have
extended their useful cooperation in diffusion of the requisite knowledge about
family planes methods to the eligible couples with intrusive comparing in the
district.
CHILD LABOUR PROGRAMME:
Child labour to discontinue the practice of employing child labour, employees
and employer were advised by our organization to stop employment of child
labour as they growth of children affect and initial and physical progress
hampered regular monitoring being done to stop the evils.
